Early birds
3th Nov, 7.10 am: breakfast
It was still a little dim outside, only the first slim beams of morning sunlight making their way through the dark sky.
The breathtaking scenary could be seen playing out on the enchanted ceiling of the Great Hall.
Even after a full month of seeing this, it didn't stop to amaze Sabrina. Everytime she entered the space (or their dorm room, for the matter) she took a moment to just look up and take the incredible view in.
Today, she got up a little earlier than usual, the Ravenclaw table mostly vacant, only a few fifth years sitting on the opposite end and a small group of second years discussing their Transfiguration homework near by.
She got herself a bowl of oatmeal. She loved the way the house elfs did it, the sticky consistance and milky taste.
She sprinkled it with cut up apples and a handful of nuts. She was just reaching for the chia seeds when she spotted another Ravenclaw enter the room.
It was a small girl with round glasses and raven hair. Sabrina has seen her around before, in the common room and at the table. She thought her name might be Kaitlyn- or maybe Eveline? Something of that sort.
Either way, she seemed kind, if not a little shy and softspoken.
Sabrina smiled, leaning a little back, waving the girl over. It was nice to meet new people, plus she always appriciated company.

Early birds
Katharine look around the Great Hall holding her nine-tailed fox plushie and egg salad sandwich looking someone to seat with. She notice another Ravenclaw and that she was waving to her to seat with her.
She saw her before walking around. Her name was Sabrina or something like that. Katharine never talked to her scared that the girl was mean or ignore her but since she didn't have friends yet, she just let the thing happend even though she is shy
The raven haired girl walk to the Ravenclaw girl, sit in front of her putting the plushie on her lap so she couldn't breakdown, look at the girl shyly, wave to her softly, take a bite of the egg salad sandwich and whisper softly :
'H-Hello!'

Early birds
The girl looked a little shy, stuttering, her voice soft. Sabrina didn't seem to pick up on that, overjoyed by the newfound company.
"Hi! You're a first year too, right? I am Sabrina, Sabrina Lyons, Brie for short!"
Sabrina smiled, leaning over the lightly to offer the girl a handshake.
Her eyes drifted down to the plushie the other girl was clutching in her surprisingly small hands.
It was a fox, wich even on its own wasn't a common plushie type, but on top of that, this one had eight extra tails, making it quiete an aregular toy.
It didn't really strike Sabrina as odd that the girl carried in on her. Sure, she hasn't seen anyone else do so, but she herself had a well-loved scruffy teadybear waiting for her on her bed.
Sabrina met the other girls eyes again, noting that she was munching on a sandwitch - containing eggs, if the scent was any indication.
"Oi, that plushie looks great! What is it? I really like mystical creatures and I know a lot of them but I don't think I've ever read about a fox-like one."
She inqueried excitedly, tilting her head to aside. Up until this point, her own breakfast laid forgotten on the wooden table, but now Sabrina picked up her spoon, digging happily into it.
She hasn't even fully swallowed the food before talking again, gesturing with her spoon while doing so.
"Thanks for sitting with me, by the way."
