A lunch for a meeting
Even she she loved going to class, Dove couldn't stop looking at her watch, she was so hungry. She knew she must listen, but it was only a theorical class, nothing very important, and if she needed help she could just go to the library or ask a friend. The minutes seemed undless and her belly couldn't stop making loudlynoise, which always made her blush, so she tried to cover it while coughing, but it wasn't really effective. But when finally the bell rang, she took her stuff faster than usual, as well as her homework, which she would do the afternoon because even if she didn't listened the end of the class, she was still a good student. While walking into the great hall, she took a quick look at her homework and realised she hadn't missed something important. She pushed a sight of relief and then she finalmy entered into the famous room. She had already spent two months at Hogwarts, so she didn't have to look for the Ravenclaw table, her feet moved alone to it. Because she hurried at the end of the lesson, there weren't a lot of people, so when she took a seat there were nobody around her. She hoped someone would sit next to her, she didn't like spending the meal alone. But anyway, now was time for eating, so she put her bag next to her feet and ate the first thing she saw : a pumpkin soup. After all, it was still autumn.

A lunch for a meeting

It had seemed like a very long morning of classes to Wren. History of Magic especially, which was the hour before lunch, seemed to drag endlessly on. When the bell finally rang, Wren practically jumped out of her seat and started for the great hall. She was starving.
The Ravenclaw table was slowly filling with students, but Wren didn’t see any other first years. Suddenly she noticed a first year girl, who had introduced herself near the beginning of the year as Dove, sitting alone near the end of the table. Wren decided she might as well go sit with her.
“Hi! You’re… Dove, right? We met on the first day- I’m Wren. Can I sit here?”
The food this month was all autumn-themed, which Wren fully endorsed. Today there were stuffed mini-pumpkins on the table which she was excited to try. However, maybe it was time to try a different drink than pumpkin juice. She didn’t want to overdo the pumpkin thing.
Along with pumpkin themed dishes, there had also been plenty of delicious baked desserts after the entrees at dinner. Wren couldn’t wait to try some of the cinnamon swirl bread that night. Her grandmother loved autumn and cooking, and this month’s cuisine reminded Wren of her.

A lunch for a meeting
She basically burned her tongue while putting the spoon in her mouth. If she knew the soup was this hot she would have taken someting else. She decided to mix the orange mixture with her spoon while blowing in it, maybe this would refresh it. While she was doing that, she noticed a girl sitting next to her. Finally some presence. she thought before turning her head toward her when the girl in question started to speak. They've already met ? It was true that the girl's face, who seemed to be called Wren, reminded her of something but she didn't know what, but she had to answer her, or it wouldn't be very polite, but she had to remember. Dove almost spilled her pumpink soup was responding :
"Yes ! Wren Sinclair, we met in the dormitories, wow, that's been a long time since we haven't seen eachother."
Of course, her memories were a bit blured. After all, thinking of it, the first day of school was starting to be far away from now. It was amazing that the time flew this fast.
She tried another sip of the soup, but this one was still hot. She was tempted by the chicken thight, but she wanted to be like her mother, that meant stop eating meat, but she was so hungry she
didn't know what to eat. She finally decided to drink her soup, even it it was burning her throat when she was swallowing. She noticed a few minutes passed since none of the girl had spoken, and Dove definitly didn't love awkward silences, and even if she was not the most outgoing person, she, at least, had to try saying something.
"Hum, by the way Wren, since we haven't spoken in a while, how have you been doing since ?"
This was quite a simple question, but still better than spoking about the weather.

A lunch for a meeting

Wren sat down next to Dove and grabbed a mini-pumpkin. The soft flesh of the pumpkin combined with the rich meaty filling was delicious. As she ate, she watched Dove wince as she put a spoonful of scalding soup in her mouth. Ouch. Wren had done it plenty of times before. Not fun.
A minute passed without speaking, but Wren was unbothered; her stomach was more important than conversation at the moment. Dove was the first to break the silence. "Hum, by the way Wren, since we haven't spoken in a while, how have you been doing since ?"
Wren swallowed her bite of pumpkin and smiled. “I’m doing well! Classes are pretty difficult, but I’ve been managing. I can’t believe we won the house championship two months in a row!” This was a particularly happy topic for Wren, who prided herself in being among the top ten earners for her house in October.
Following a lull in the conversation, Wren noticed another first year sitting a little ways away from them, holding a stuffed animal and looking quite nervous. Wren smiled sympathetically, and waved at her. “Hi! Would you like to sit with us?”

A lunch for a meeting
@Wren Sinclair@Katherine InkwellAfter her soup being all drunk, and incidentally her throat being quite iritated due to the mixture particullary hot, she nodded and had a thought about what Wren just said. Accorting to Dove, classes weren't really difficult, because when she needed help, she new she could find everything she wanted at the library, she thought was one of the best places of Hogwarts by the way, and if qhe really couldn't understand, she knew she could ask some help from her friends or anyone in Ravenclaw. That what she really liked in her house, and in the schoom in general, this solidarity between everyone.
"I agree with you, I'm so happy we won twice in a row ! I hope I could help more my classmare during this month."
When she saw the great hall having a new color being the one representing her house, Dove felt proud being in Ravenclaw.
"Ho and, by the way, you said you found classes difficult. It's not always the same for me, even if I do have problems sometimes. It could be cool if we helped eachother when one or the two of us are in trouble ?"
She just finished her sentence when Wren waved at some girl of their age, and house, to invite her sitting with them. The girl in questions introduced herself as a Katherine. Dove had never seen this girl before, she was quite tall and pretty with her black hair and brown eyes.
"Hi Katherine ! I'm Dove. I've never seen you before now, I am glad to meet you.
same a Wren said, a rp is minimum 200 words !
