The First Dinner
Lillian and Fiona ran into the great hall. A teacher then asked Lillian to come, so Lillian had to go.
Fiona then decided to look for the Ravenclaw table herself. She found it and took a seat. She looked up at the thrones at the very back of the Great Hall. Solomon Lear was seated in one of those thrones. Fiona looked at the table. No food had been served yet. After about ten minutes, when everyone was seated, Solomon Lear stood up. 'Attention, everybody. First of all, I would like to welcome all the new students we have this year. This year is going to be an epic learning experience for you all. Whether its your first year, final year or any year in between, you are all encouraged to behave and follow our school rules. This year we have quite a few new teachers, but many of them you already recognise. Now, without further ado, lets begin this feast!' The hall then burst into claps as elegant ladies began serving plates of delicious food onto our tables. It was marvelous. Fiona had roast chicken with gravy and mashed potatoes, and had blueberry cake for dessert. After Fiona ate, she looked around the table for Lillian. She couldn't find her. Fiona then looked at the other tables and spotted her at the Hufflepuff table. Fiona was just about to walk to her when the teacher from earlier stopped her. 'Your friend Lillian isn't from Ravenclaw. She is in Hufflepuff. She just came to the wrong dormitory earlier. You can still be friends even though you aren't in the same house.' Fiona was then annoyed. Fiona walked back to her seat. 'I shall never be friends with somebody outside my house, for they will just betray me. I shall ignore Lillian from now on,' she thought. And that's what turned a night that was supposed to be splendid into a night of frustration and annoyance.
