A new beginning
It was a cold autumn day and Lily was at King's Cross station. "How do we get to platform 9 3/4 mum" she asked. " I don't really know darling." she replied. Lily's sister came running back saying that she had found platforms 9 and 10 so we crossed the station to find it.
When we got to platform 9, Lily started looking around. She wondered if it was all a trick. Then, she saw the weirdest thing. There was a boy a bit older than her and he had a cloak an owl and a huge suitcase.
" Excuse me, do you know how to get onto platform 9 3/4? she asked.
"Oh, are you a first year?" he looked at her. She nodded. "Copy me" he said and he leant against the barrier separating platform 9 and platform 10. Lily watched curiously as he disappeared into the wall between platforms 9 and 10.
Lily all of a sudden was nervous. She was scared about running through what looked like a solid wall. What if it didn't work for her and she ended up with a headache? However she wanted to go to Hogwarts more than anything. She grabbed her trolley and ran at the wall as no-one was watching, she ran at the wall. She shut her eyes and waited for the impact of running into a wall, but it never came. She ran straight through the wall and onto platform 9 3/4! Her mother and sister shortly followed her.
"Wow, your so lucky Lily." I have to wait 2 years until I can come to this place." complained her sister. Lily rolled her eyes and hugged Annabel goodbye. "Bye darling," said her mum. "Bye" said Lily, hugging her mum tight. With that, she turned and walked towards the school that would change her life forever.
