Not so pleasent encounter Pv

28th October, 12.30 lunch break
In her usual fashion: Sabrina was late. Or at least behind on her schedule. She had a free hour or so between her lunch and afternoon classes.

She planned on spending the time in the Library, working on her Transfiguration skills and doing research for her Charms essay on the differences between hexes, jinxes and curses.

In her defense, she followed through with said plan right up to entering the library. And she'd be already halfway through her studies, hadn't she done the crucial mistake of 'just checking out' the newest arrivals.

It turned from 'just flipping through' a really interesting book on pixies to reading up to chapter 14th before remembering what she was there to actually do.

Said book already borrowed and tucked in her bag, she was now in the 'spells' section, picking out some books for her research.

She had about half-an-hour now, witch was fine. She'd make some notes now and practice her transfiguration later after classes- she'd just have to squeeze it between her study group and charms homework.

Then after dinner they had a game night with her roommates and tomorrow-

Lost in her thoughts, eyes locked on the open book in her hands, walking absentmindedly down the aisle, she didn't even notice the boy rounding the corner, holding a stack of books.

It took her a second to process what had happened. One moment she was reading about the severity of certain curses, the other she was on the floor, books scattered all around her and the boy she colided with.

"Oh merlin!" She yelped, scrambling to her knees, hurriedly collecting the boys books.

"Are you alright? I didn't even see you there-"

Work, work and more work. That was what he did. Almost every day. He worked on his homework, and school work. If he wasn't doing that, he could be found studying. Most of what he did was around his grades. To make sure they kept up, and his average was always O. He needed the extra work, (not really), as his wand work was subpar at best. It wasn't a shock to see the Slytherin in the library.

Currently, he had a far to large stack of books. From the spines, it could easily be inferred he was studding, defense against the dark arts. It was easily one of his worst subjects. He'd come in to the library during lunch to be sure he had this down, and committed to memory. If he couldn't recite it word for word, was it really a good study session?

With his large stack of books it was no surprise that he would run into something, or well someone. He'd just gotten lost in the books, and the spines. One moment he'd been walking through the shelves, making his way back to the desk he had claimed, and the next. He was on the ground. Book's scattered around him, and a girl.

A girl around his age, he may have seen her around the halls a few times. He had neutral feelings about her. Up until now that was. "Watch where your walking!" He snapped at her, seemingly cutting off whatever she had been trying to say. How dare she run into him! No way was it the other way around. He might have looked a little silly, throwing a fit on the ground. He stood up, he was fine. Mostly, all he was, was a little sore. Nothing that wouldn't go away on it's own. No need to bring attention to it.

He didn't bother helping her up, why should he? He was seeming to have this keep happing to him. Once at the lunch room, where he almost fell then. And now, where he did fall. Much worse. At least she had the decency to pick up his books for him. He grabbed a few of his books to, standing up tall. He was taller then her by a few inches. He was glaring into her. For no real reason. He'd been the one with the giant stack of books, and the one unable to see where he was walking.

"I'm unharmed, but I could have been." He told her tone biter. He could have been harmed, could have hit his head on a book shelf or something like that. The books could have crushed him, or merlin forbid it, a paper cut. There would be no way that he would admit it was his fault. He would blame this girl to the end of time. And yes, he was being dramatic.

"Really? The fall looked quiete nasty. My mom is a Mediwitch, she gave me some of her ointments for soreness or bruises, I should have some on me-" she pushed, concerned.

She only stopped her rambling as the boy snatched his books from her, making her stumble on her feet a little, not expecting that to happen.

She furrowed her brows, pouting her lips, when the boy snapped at her, blaming her for their fall.

He was mean, obviously looking down on her - and not just because of their height difference. He clearly condemned her already, not liking her. And that didn't sit well with Sabrina, not at all.

Her face didn't stay like that for long the, the gloomy expression giving way to curiousity as her eyes wondered to said books.

She finally got a good look at them, seeing that they were all on the Defense of dark arts. The subject was okay, in her opinion, but definitely not so interesting to read such amount of books on it.

"Hey, why do you have so many books on dark arts?" She asked, absentmindedly pressing her index finger to her parted lips, leaning forward and tilting her head to aside so she could read the backs of the books.

He rolled his eyes at her insistence, some people where just to nice, and far to helpful thinking they knew what was best for Oliver just because, what was it she said? Her mom is a healer? Something like that. "My father is a magical lawyer, since where apparently needlessly sharing our families jobs." He said all this during her pause, as he snatched his books back from her.

As he somewhat felt that she would take forever in giving them back. Oliver was by no means a mind reader, but he did have eyes. He could see her furrowed brows, and slightly pursed lips. He felt as if she was not, really happy with him. But he didn't care. She was just one person, in a whole school of people, he didn't care if one person was upset with him.

Oliver didn't try to focus on it to much, his attention instead focused on the books in his hands. Trying to be sure he wouldn't drop them again, if he did, well. What would be the point of trying to study any more at that point? It would be a clear sign from the universe that he should just try again another day. Because Oliver was already there, he would just get it done and over with. He was stubborn enough. He would be studding today.

Great. She was nosey to. Why did she need to know? He wouldn't tell her. Never. "That's none of you concern." He pretty much spat in his defense. Oliver would not be caught telling people that he wasn't that great at spells, or Defense of dark arts. That was nothing anyone needed to know. And if he never said it, never admitted he wasn't super good at something, then everyone would just have to think he was good at it. Right? "So please, just mind your own." He didn't have to say please. Oliver hoped she knew that.

She quickly stepped back, the motion jerky, as if she just got slapped. Her expressing also matched that analogy, brows furrowed once more as she stared at the boy. She didn't share her mothers job needlessly- she only mentioned it to explain why she'd have a magical ointment on her!

And, it was a totally normal thing to say. Why did he have to be so rude about it? Plus, the way he said that his dad was a magical lawyer, how he held his head high, the tone he said it in, made her weirdly uncomfortable. She wasn't really sure why.

She gripped the strap of her bag and bit into the inside of her cheeks. All of her previous plans were forgotten as a series of questions related to the boy infront of her filled her mind instead.

"Whoah, sorry. I didn't know it was a top secret information.."

She grumbled quietly, bowing her head down and looking to aside, her fringe covering her eyes, sounding a bit angry but mostly hurt. She looked up again, meeting the boys blue eyes with her own, back straightening, not backing away.

"I only asked to see if you needed some asistence. Most of your books -" she nodded to the stack in his arms "- just complicate the simplistics. Use a lot of fancy words to describe something trivial.

For example this one-" she pointed at the heavy book second from the top in leather bounding "- basically goes over what the professor talked about in our first lesson."

She stated, looking back up at him, her stare determined.

"But you wasting your time over useless books isn't my concern, now is it?"

She challenged, raising her chin slightly as she turned her back to the boy, her hair flicking over her shoulder with the sharp movement. She stomped over to the tables, sitting down on one of the chairs, her legs automatically folding beneath her.

Setting her bag down - maybe a bit too harshly - she opened the book she intended to take notes from before, setting her cheeks up between her fists, elbows prompted up on the desk.

She sounded hurt, Oliver didn't know why. He didn't care all to much onto that either. It was far from his fault the girl in front of him couldn't handle a little harsh tone. And, if he was being honest with himself. He thought it was a little silly. After all, he didn't even know her name. Yet, she sounded hurt by his, a strangers words. Oliver couldn't help but wonder how the girl would react if someone she knew, someone she held a deep trust in would hurt her.

A terrible thought. One he couldn't from thinking as his blue eyes met her grey, looking over her. He scoffed. As if him, an Armani would need help from anyone. Now she was insulting him. What else could it be? An insult to his intelligence. Did she think he couldn't understand the wording of what book he picked out? Most probably. She thought him to be a dumb as a sack of rocks.

He was bored of her. She was no longer, really hadn't been ever, saying anything he was interested in hearing. Now was no exception. His gazed hardened, not breaking the eye contact with her. "No, No it does not." He told her, in an irritated tone. This girl was nosey, and thought she could intimate him or something. A ridiculous thought in itself. Then her turn away, Oliver rolled his eyes.

He rolled his eyes and walked to his table as well, setting his books down, and ignoring the girl for the rest of his session. Not looking up at her once, after all. She was far beneath him. He was better then trying to go over to start something. Based on how she put her bag down, she was upset or something. Also silly of her to feel in his eyes. Oliver, if not nothing at all, was a tad irritated by the fall. He was almost always irritated by something though. So it wasn't new.
