Célestine was attached to different animals since her childhood, but what she found even more beautiful were snakes. She didn't see a lot of them in Lyon, but there were some there that occasionally were appearing on her way. When Célestine discovered that she can understand them and talk to them, she became even more fascinated by snakes.

So one day, she was walking as usual in her hometown, enjoying the day. Suddenly one snake approached her. It seemed lonely, so Célestine paused, making sure no one would see her. Are you lonely? However snake didn't answer her and just went away. At that time Célestine didn't think much about it. However, to her surprise, this snake started to come to her again and more often till the time they had a small conversation and agreed to be friends.

Célestine didn't like to order her new friend what to do, so she used it very rare, only if she didn't have any choice. As she was working in Beauxatons and couldn't take her new friend with her, she made sure to always buy some food for her snake.

In summer she used the opportunity of her been in London and decided to visit Magical Menagerie. As she found the way to get there, he came inside and said hi. She didn't want to seem rude even though she was here not to buy pet but rather buy food for her friend. I'm sorry, do you have any food for snakes? She still didn't feel quite comfortable with admitting to others that she was a Parselmouth after so many years hiding this. Although with everything happening in the world, maybe it was for best.

After hearing that there was something she could buy, Célestine smiled happily. Her snake deserved at least buying food for it, since most of the time they spent separate. However, maybe in the future she wouldn't need to hide it anymore.

She sighed at her thoughts and went to pay for food that she purchased. This was one of the reasons why her snake friend still was with her, even though they didn't get to spend much time together. Célestine always dreamed about the time when she could openly have her snake with her and she hoped it will happen soon.

Looking back at shopkeepers, she smiled and thanked them for their help. It was now time to go back and she thought she might come back here later if she needed food again.
