Letter!? Once in a Blue Moon

Dear Prat,
I'm sure you are doing well for yourself, having already familiarized yourself with the castle grounds. We do wish you would send an owl once in a while this year unlike the previous year. I am sure in your abilities that you've been pursuing those perfect academic grades, as well as taking all extra curriculars that seem to interest you. Amidst all that, i sincerely hope you do not forget to take enough rest and are not cutting on sleep just to be in the center of all things. Do not overwork yourself.

How is duelling going? Have you made the roster yet? If not, do not fret over it. All things happen in due time. Your attitude towards life of forcing things has not changed, i still believe your patience and judgement would come out on top against those urges to rush headfirst into things. With the recent events that have happened, Me and your father have been slightly worried about your safety. While the castle is one of the safest places to be, it also attracts devious attention for the same reasons.

We've recently been thinking about the company you keep and believe it's time you make more of your connections with pureblood children and in extension with their families instead of your current company. This suggestion came directly from your grandfather and i would dare not overlook this piece of advice in your shoes. We as in your father and I on the other hand believe their blood status hardly matters. We still suggest you to be cautious in your decision making and who you do put your faith in.

Coming to the next topic of discussion, i've recently been made aware that a daughter of my cousin, that is, within reason your aunt has a daughter studying in your year. Ofcourse a slytherin like you. We do not have much on her at the time of writing, we do however believe she is a smart child with features similar to mine. We do hope you'll interact cordially with her when you do chance upon her. Take this as a chance to build connections with another family.

Lastly, we hope you're having the time of your life without getting in any trouble, right as we know the diligent child you are. The horses are having a wonderful time along with the other pets. Your grandparents send their regards. Your father has bought more quidditch merchandise for you, kept in your room awaiting your return. We hope you're having a lovely time and do remember, your father and I love you.
