First half of the post is in Tracey's P.O.V.:

It's October 14th and that means Mateo is arriving at Hogwarts. Tracey was excited to see her childhood best friend again.

After breakfast, Tracey made her way to Ravenclaw Tower to get her two year old kitten, Tiger, so she can take him on a walk and they can also see Mateo.

Tracey made her way down to the grounds with Tiger at her heel and once she got to the grounds, she walked over to a tree. It didn't take long before she heard a familiar voice call out to her which made her turn around.

Her face lit up when she saw Mateo running over to her, and she smiled happily at how cute Tiger was being. As Mateo was petting Tiger, Tracey realized there was something different about him.

Last time they saw each other, Tracey had light red hair and Mateo had black hair, but now, Tracey has raven blue hair and so does Mateo! Their twining! Tracey was curious with why he dyed his hair so she asked,
"Mateo! We have the same hair color now! Why'd you dye it? Don't get me wrong, it looks amazing, but why?"

Hearing his response made Tracey giggle. When she had first dyed her hair using her metamorphmagus ability, she had chosen to dye it purple. She then said,
"Yep, I remember that all to well. So, how's school?"

Though she and Mateo had owled each other a lot since the last time they've seen each other, Tracey couldn't help but ask him how school was. Hearing his response, she was happy for him, and decided to congratulate him, so she said,
"Congratulations! I'll have my next duel coming up near the end of October. I'm honestly really nervous,"

Hearing Mateo assure her made her smile happily. This is what she loves about Mateo. Wait, love? Oh no! She can't possibly be in love with her childhood best friend, can she? She already has a boyfriend. Uh-oh, what is she going to do?

Tracey began to panic about the fact that she's in love with her childhood friend and somehow Mateo had noticed. Tracey calmed down her thoughts when she heard Mateo speak. She began thinking about how to answer, since she really didn't want to break any rules, but then she said,
"Sure, but maybe we could find someone else too? But what if we get caught?"

Tracey wasn't sure why she had agreed to sneaking into Hogsmeade, but, being reckless is ok once in a while right? As she heard Mateo try to convince her, she kept on saying no, since she wasn't entirely sure, but then she sighed in defeat as she said,
"During the ball? I thought you were going to that, but sure, let's do it,"

Tracey saw Mateo smile happily and she herself couldn't believe she had agreed, but she was ready for it.

Second half of the post is in Mateo's P.O.V.:

It's October 14th and that means Mateo is back at Hogwarts. He was excited. He couldn't wait to see Tracey and Tiger again. Though he and Tracey have been owling a lot since the last time he visited, he still wanted to know what he's been missing at Hogwarts, and not to mention, he misses Tracey and Tiger.

Mateo knew that Tracey would be waiting for him at the grounds, so he made his way over after settling in the campgrounds. When he arrived at the grounds, he saw Tracey and Tiger waiting for him under a tree so he ran over to them and said,
"Tracey! I'm so glad to see you and Tiger again!"

As he was running, he saw Tracey turn around and saw her face light up, which made his heart flutter. Yep, Mateo is in love with his childhood best friend, but he knows that she already has a boyfriend.

He pushed those thoughts out of his head and watched as Tiger trotted around him and he kneeled down to pet Tiger before he returned to his full height. He looked at Tracey when he heard her speak and nodded his head before saying,
"Oh, I decided to try something new. Nothing too out of the ordinary, like you dying your hair purple,"

What Mateo said made Tracey giggle and that brought a smile to his face. He then heard her reply and thought about how to answer her question before saying,
"Schools good. Made some friends, got decent grades. I had my first official Quidditch match, and though I wasn't much help, my team still won,"

Mateo smiled again when he heard Tracey congratulate him. When he heard that she'll be having a duel coming up, Mateo decided to wish her luck by saying,
"You'll do amazing Trace. Don't worry about it!"

Mateo kneeled down again and began petting Tiger who was just laying on the grass under the tree. Mateo looked over at Tracey who seemed to be deep in her thoughts and somehow he knew she was panicking, but he had no idea what she was panicking about, but then Mateo decided to distract her from her thoughts as he said,
"Hey, Trace, last time you showed me around Hogwarts, what if we try to sneak into Hogsmeade sometime? I think it'll be fun,"

This was just an idea, and honestly, he knew it'll take a while to convince her, since Tracey wasn't the one to break any rules, and Mateo knew that. Hearing her reply made him giggle a bit before he said,
"Oh Trace. You worry too much, it's good to be rebellious sometimes, plus it's not like anyone will catch us, unless we don't go during the ball, what d'you say?"

Mateo tried his best to convince his friend, and it took a while before Mateo heard the words he wanted to hear. When Tracey agreed to sneaking into Hogsmeade with him during the fall ball, Mateo smiled happily and he began forming a plan with Tracey.
