Buying books. The most boring and yet the most interesting chore ever. You see people you haven't seen in years. And yet that was exactly what ended up happening to Katherine. She was minding her own business when she found a very interesting book about magical amphibians and how they play a key part in potions and other magical purposes. She was very excited by her find and didn't notice a girl her age coming into the almost deserted bookstore. The girl, unlike herself, was not here for pleasure but here for the annoying task of getting her school books. Katherine was very interested in her book however and didn't want anything to do with the new customer. She read her book for a bit, decided she wasn't interested in it anymore and put it down. She walked over to another side of the bookstore. She was looking for new releases and other books that might interest her when she slammed right into the girl who had walked into the store earlier. Katherine stumbled back, dazed by the collision.
"I'm so sorry. I really wasn't paying attention. My bad." She looked into the girl's eyes and saw that she looked very familiar.
"Do I know you?"
