CANDACE
meaning Glowing | can-dace
An ancient title once used by queens of Ethiopia, Candace means "glowing” or “queen mother." This girl's name has Latin roots but is derived from the Meroitic word Kandake, which was Latinized as Candace. Referring to the Candaces of Meroe, the queens of the Kingdom of Kush, these regal women were both the mothers of kings and monarchs in their own right. This title is a subtle way to help your little one feel like a royal and emphasize their inner radiance. Candace can also mean "whiteness," symbolizing the purity and brilliance of your little one.
LAWRENCE
meaning From Laurentum | awr(e)-nce
Lawrence is a masculine name of Latin origin meaning “from Laurentum”—a city in south Rome populated by laurel trees. It is an Anglicized version of the French Laurent, which is thought to be derived from the Latin laurus, meaning “laurel.” In Ancient Rome and Greece, laurel trees were of great significance, with people wearing laurel wreaths to represent victory or achievement after a sport or poetry competition. Lawrence has since sprouted a myriad of variations, including Laurence, Lars, Lorenzo, and Larry, providing many winning possibilities for naming baby.

CANDACE'S BACKSTORY
Candace was born in a dynamic household. Her mother is a witch who stays hands-on with her children while her father is a muggle who has a decent job to sustain his family. Her mother often introduces Candace and her siblings to the wizarding world when they are little. Candace loved it. But still, her father makes sure that she doesn’t forget that she’s still living in a place full of muggles and that she must be careful. Candace loves reading different genres of books, in fact, she has a small shelf in her bedroom and puts her books in an arrangement from the book that she loves the most to the least book she loves the most. Despite her father wanting all his children to attend a muggle school, their mother insisted that all of them should be home-schooled. Candace always asks her mother all about magic and stuff and hopes that one day, she could stay in a place where her mother once fulfilled her desire of becoming a witch.
