- Sheep and stars -
In Cass's opinion, there were both good and bad things about astronomy. The tower was super cool and tall and things and they really wanted to throw things off it, but it also had way to many steps in it. They had enough energy to power a small factory, so it wasn't really a problem so much as a boring thing. Go around the corner, steps. Go around another corner, more steps. So so so many steps. Neverending. You could only race up it to see how fast you could go so many times before it was just boring. The class itself was at night, which was awesome because Cass thought nights were far to boring. Sleep was for the weak. Class however, was also still boring no matter what time of the day it was at. Which was definitely a minus.
All things considered, astronomy was bad, but not worse than say history of magic. That was true rock bottom boring. Astronomy was like a solid third to fifth worse on the list. Planets really ought to come with labels so that Cass didn't have to sort of guess if Jupiter was Jupiter or Mars or the moon or something. They all looked the same to them. The only thing they really did in class was play connect the dots with their star charts. It was sort of mildly fun to make pictures of sheep, but that got boring too. Everything was far too boring here. Which was why they were not looking forward to tonight. They had astronomy once again. In fact, they had it every week. It was part of the schedule if you could believe that.
Feeling the terrible, terrible effects of boredom, Cass poked their head through the doorway. They then proceeded to walk through the doorway, because you couldn't just stand with your head there forever. Actually, they probably could. It was worth trying. Except it was just standing there which was also boring. They should've brought their broom and made a surprise getaway though one of the windows. Now that wouldn't be boring. They flopped onto a chair, twirling their wand between their fingers. Time to get this over with. Maybe they could connect-the-dots another sheep or something.
