Am I Alone Now? Solo

Belle hadn’t had time alone since she left home, all the way back in Scotland. So, since she’d arrived, Belle had been searching for a quiet place to be alone, preferably with a piano too. That’s when she found it. A big room that was labeled on her map as ‘Rehearsal Room’.

When Belle had first found the room, there were a couple people inside, practicing…dancing? She had come back a couple more times, and each time, there was at least three people in there, doing something Belle would’ve never been caught dead doing in public. Singing.

Belle missed it, but she didn’t like singing in front of other people. That’s why it had been so long. Wherever she looked, there was someone with her. But now, Belle had come back again, this time to find the room empty. She couldn’t describe how happy it made her. Finally, she could be the one in there, and to her surprise, there was also a piano inside.

Belle quickly ran over to the piano and after warming up, she was playing her favorite piece. After playing for a little bit, she found herself singing. Belle would never have let herself sing if there was another person nearby, but from what she could tell she was alone.

That is, until she heard a large group of people heading her way, and from the sound they were making, it was a big group of them. Belle quickly grabbed her bag and ran out of the room. From another corridor, she watched a groups of older students, maybe seventh years, go into the room.

Belle sighed in relief. So close to being caught. She took out her map and started the rehearsal room. Belle would definitely be coming back here sometime.

Fear has two meanings: Forget Everything And Run, or Face Everything And Rise. The choice is yours.
