Oliver And His Best Buddy Ever, Clarisse!
Oliver nodded to his father as he was told the instructions, his father was instructing him a list of Do and Don'ts in the muggle world. This was Oliver's first time without any parent, surrounded by muggles, and he was nervous to say the least. He wore a light blue, cotton shirt, grey, washed out jeans and black converse. On his wrist was his father's watch, the leather strap old and wrinkled like a flattened prune.
It had been arranged for Oliver to meet Clarisse in the city centre, right infront of the Buckingham Palace, beside the very entrance. Oliver wasn't sure why, as he looked at it from across the road, it seemed like one of the busiest areas, surrounded in tourists. It was a very easy to find location though.
Oliver's father walked him over to the traffic lights, and smacked the pedestrian button harder than needed. He was a tall man, about 6'4" with long hair that he ran back with his hands, giving it a messy state. His beard was tidy and half an inch long. His eyes had sunk partially, giving him a constant tired appearance. He wasn't chubby like Oliver, more so well built, a bit large, but not round. His muscle balanced out any chub he had.
"This is a traffic light, you press this button. You wait, a clock ticks. You keep waiting for that clock. Then bam! Look! Green walking human, means you walk. Don't walk this time, try again with me," Oliver's father told, holding his son's shoulder as he leaned down to him to point.
They were surrounded by muggles listening in but he didn't seem to care. They seemed unusual sure, but not enough to be hold back.
When the green man unlit, Oliver slapped the button just like his father had and with a smile, waited for the green human to appear. His smile started to fade as this time it was taking exceptionally long. His face went from a happy, beaming grin to a confused, disappointed, puffed cheek expression. Alas, it went green! The longest two minutes of Oliver's life.
"Okay, walk across the road and stand by that gate. Do not walk anywhere that others aren't walking. Back here by 5pm. Stay close to Clarabelle and listen to her!" Oliver's father gave Oliver a push to start walking.
"It's Clarisse!" Oliver called back as he walked out. A moment after, he noticed all the drivers to his right looking at him and he begun to speed up his walk. He passed everyone out and got to the other side, waving back at his father who then left to go back home.
Oliver weaved around a few tourists before standing firmly by the gate entrance, smiling to himself as he waited for Clarisse.

Oliver And His Best Buddy Ever, Clarisse!
Clarisse had been to London a few times before, but the city was always big and loud, compared to her own little city. She had to get the train there, which took an hour, and her father fussed over her endlessly, warning her not to talk to strangers or to leave her friend or to... Well, she considered it all common sense and tried to distract him with questions about his lecture. It was the only thing that allowed her to be here - her dad would be in the city (albeit lecturing) so it was alright that she was meeting up with a friend from school.
"Can you see him?" he asked, sticking close to her side and making her wonder whether he would ever leave her. The pair of them looked like common muggles. It was helped that one was, and the other half was. Her father had dressed up smart, suit jacket across one arm and wearing a neatly ironed shirt, without a tie. His glasses were freshly polished and he kept checking his leather watch - the man didn't want to be late. Clarisse had opted for something more comfortable to meet Oliver in. Jeans and a hoodie - it was from her primary school, with names scattered across the back and a small emblem at the front marking where she had studied before Hogwarts.
"That's him!" she cried, pointing to the chubby boy standing next to the gates. Without his school robes and Ravenclaw attire, she was surprised she recognised him. Clarisse made a break to run towards him, but her dad caught her hand.
"You meet me here, okay?" he instructed, marching sharply towards the boy with her, "At 5. You have that phone I gave you? You know my number? You added the other numbers, just in case?" Clarisse nodded, desperately wanting to gain a touch of freedom. The man turned to the boy they had approached, Clarisse smiling awkwardly in apology. "Oliver? I expect you to take care of my daughter. I may not know magic, but that doesn't mean you can get away with not returning her here at five. Understood?"
Clarisse winced, knowing how fake he was acting. "Dad, it's fine! We can - we'll be fine!" She gave him a quick goodbye kiss and she ushered him away. Reluctantly, he checked his watch and realised that perhaps it was time to leave.
Finally, parent-less, she gave a more sincere smile to Oliver. "Hey! It's good to see you again. How's life outside of Hogwarts been?"
