A new friend of intelligence
Luke goes to the courtyard to play wizards chess with his other friends and while Luke plays wizard chess with his friends, Luke notices that he might lose but quickly prevents it and then takes on of his friend's pawns out. After some time, Luke finally wins the wizard chess with his friend.
Oh congratulations mate.. Luke's friend says.
But Luke loses the next game of wizard chess because of his other friend.
Guess I got too confident! Hahaha! Luke said while chuckling.
You did mate, you did.. Luke's opponent says.
While Luke watches as his friends battle each other to the game of chess, he sees a bunch of Ravenclaw students walking around the courtyard but Luke just quickly does not mind it and then turns back to his friends as Luke watches his friends battle each other.
Then Luke feels a cold and windy breeze that gives a cold shiver down Luke's spine and then quickly gets warm.
Luke notices that the battle of wizard chess between his friends is about to finish and then after the game finishes, Luke's friends tell Luke that they will go back to the castle and then Luke nodded.
Luke was looking around the courtyard for a new friend and opponent for him to play against in a game of wizard chess until Luke sees a Ravenclaw girl and a Gryffindor girl.

Yolanda was walking through the Courtyard after an incredibly hard Astronomy class. She had homework to do and her brain hurt. She told herself she’d focus on homework. In reality she was already looking for a distraction.
Looking over the Courtyard she noticed many students wandering around. A Gryffindor girl strode quickly. She took note of a Gryffindor boy sitting by himself, who had a quiet confidence.
She’d seen this boy before – in Herbology – so he must also be a First Year.
He was gazing over the courtyard with an open chess set. He looked over with a friendly smile.
Yolanda stopped dead.
This wasn’t an ordinary chess set.
Did… a King just wink at her? Startled she looked over at the boy.
Her curiousity overtook her.
“Hi,” Yolanda said, waving, “I’ve seen you in class before; do you mind me asking, what’s this?” Yolanda questioned, pointing at the chess set.
She swore one of the pieces yelled out, ‘this is war!’.
She knew what is was, sort of. She hadn’t said exactly what she meant which is ‘why are those chess pieces moving and is one of them talking to me? Are they sentient??’
She waited for the boys reply.

Hello! Oh, this is wizard's chess! The wizard chess pieces can move when you order them to move like real chess.
I'm also surprised that they can move! Luke said.
I'm also new to wizard chess but I know a little about chess. Do you want to play wizard's chess with me soon in the future? Because I'm lookin for more friends to play, have fun, and experience adventures with! Luke said while looking at the Ravenclaw girl while chuckling.

Luke then starts moving the wizard pieces and the Ravenclaw girl looks at the wizard chess pieces with a smile.
Luke then looks back at the Ravenclaw girl.

“My name’s Yolanda; sorry I didn’t introduce myself! Nice to meet you Luke.”
Yolanda knew they should rush to class– Herbology – and they didn’t have much time, but she couldn’t help but be enthralled by the Wizard Chess pieces. Her legs did hurt… she could rest them for just a moment.
Sitting down in the Courtyard she enjoyed watching the little moving chess pieces.
“I would love to try a quick game – we’ve got to go off to Herbology soon though.” She warned. Yolanda thought it was fun playing the game together with Luke. Fresh air, open space, and little magic ‘people’. This was so cool! Time flies when you’re having fun.
Suddenly she realized how barren the Courtyard was – Oh no! – they were running late!
“We’ve got to get going to class!”
The Chess pieces wanted to finish the battle and Yolanda had to tell her team to ‘stand down’, a couple times, before they made a temporary truce.
“You were right when you said class was about to start! Ohh I’d hate to lose House Points. Will we get detention for being late? Oh wow…”
Time to run!
