i. syopsisIt’s no secret that (inset kingdom name) is falling apart. The working class is growing more and more discontent with the whispers of a rebellion echoing behind closed doors. The death of the king has the court growing eager to swoop in and claim the throne for themselves.
Hoping to keep conflict at bay, the queen has arranged for the prince to be wed to the daughter of one of the most esteemed noble houses. The occasion has allowed for a massive celebration, the entire court journeying to the castle to take part in the festivities. However, before the wedding, the princess-to-be goes missing, unbeknownst to all but the queen and the noble House from which she came from.
Anastasya is a bounty hunter, and a good one at that. Growing up on the streets of (insert city name), she’s all too familiar with the underground life. Criminals are what she knows best, making capturing them even easier. She’s made a decent life for herself, her name is well known and her business is successful.
Yet Anastasya’s world is upended when she receives a royal summons, believing she’s about to be executed for her services. Instead, her skills are requested by the royal monarch to find a missing princess, meanwhile posing as her for court in order to keep up appearances. Although unaccustomed to finding royals, Anastasya has no choice but to accept, her own life at stake.
With the help of some “friends” made along the way, Anastasya is thrown into a dangerous game of royalty and politics as she tries to uncover what happened to the princess, unearthing more and more secrets along the way, working against the clock as the deadline for the wedding gets closer and closer, along with her execution should she fail.
