OOC NOTE This is the series of letters between Ollie and his parents about what house he got.
September 25th, 2024
Dear mom and dad,
I am sorry. I haven't told you yet, I know you sent the letter a while ago. I just haven't known how to tell you. I did not get Gryffindor like we thought I would. I don't know why, I thought I would have. The hat said I had ambition, and it placed me in Slytherin.
I don't know what else to say really. My classes have been going well, casing has been proving difficult. Though I am good at the lectures and history aspects of classes.

September 30th
Dearest Oliver,
We are not mad. Just deeply disappointed in these results. As you should very well know, all of the Armani's have been in Gryffindor. Never once has someone born with our blood been in any other house. We could have very well excepted a Ravenclaw. However; a Slytherin is near unacceptable.
Ambition is good, everyone can have it. A good thing to have.
There is to much of a good thing clearly. We thought you were brave, after all, you are very well braver then me. This, it's just does not sound like you.
Oliver, these are disappointing results. We understand why you were apprehensive in telling us. But appreciate your doing so.
Do not fail us anymore Oliver. We expect at the very least near perfect grades. E's and O's, and no owls from any staff at Hogwarts.
