Elisa had never been much fond of animals other than snakes, as a parselmouth she found it stupid to buy some other animal as a pet that couldn't even understand her like snakes would but there she was in Magical Menagerie, her face plastered with a scowl, her father had declined her demand for a snake stating that it wouldn't be accepted by her mother who still finds the ability of parselmouth very weird..

As Elisa walked around the huge shop, her eyes fell on many creatures, some different others alike, her father even tried to convince her into getting a Pygmy puff, even daring to call it a young girl's perfect companion, which according to her seemed more like something that she would see in a nightmare than as a best friend, its eyes peculiar as it stares into ones soul, just like how Vasilius had did when he saw her on the first day of camp. Elisa was about to finally give up on this search when her eyes fell on one particular animal, something about it had caught her interest,

As Elisa walked towards it, she finally recognized it, it was a ferret, while the cage had many of them, one particular one caught her eyes, he seemed to be much more active than the other ones, much more mischievous, with bright glint in his tiny eyes, unknowing of the small smile on her face, Elisa walked near the cage as the ferret looked at her curiously, it was as if it was examining her, she gently put her finger into the cage, for the first few minutes the mysterious yet curious creature kept its guard before slowly lowering it and as it dooked, before slowly licking the young girl's fragile finger, a grin slowly creeped into her face as Elisa gently petted the ferret which returned her with a smile, after asking the help of the shop owner to open the cage, she gently picked up the ferret, but before she could have a proper glance of it, it climbed up her hand to her shoulder, resting on it, it was as if something about her was making it comfortable,

Elisa smiled as she called out to her father, "Father, could we get him?", after receiving a yes from her father, she continued to play with the ferret in her hand while her father went of to do the billing for it, as she chuckled playing with it, seeing the now her new pet in her hand, she couldn't help but feel how foolish she was for thinking no animal could be a perfect pet for her when this exact hob infront of her had managed to prove her wrong and wrap her around its paws.
