Laurie walked through the stacks, her eyes full of fascination. The dusty books led to a mysterious world within, one with entertainment every turn and corner. Those yellow pages, they meant a lot to her. With the surprise and excitement of being admitted to Hogwarts, shopping in Diagon Alley seemed as exciting. After buying her wand, Laurie immediately entered Flourish and Blotts, to enter the realm she knew so well. Sitting on a couch, book in hand, she got immersed in the book, Fantastic Beasts and where to Find Them, by Newt Scamander. After about two chapters, she suddenly remembered the purpose she had come for- buying books.
Laurie strolled by the aisles, counting on her fingers, as she picked up book after book. This reminded her of a golden memory, one when her parents were alive. She was walking in the library, and pointing at all the illustrated books and plays she saw. Her mother, Tess, lifted little Laurie up and read out a story to her-a magical one.
Laurie shook her head and smiled. This smile also carried a big amount of pain and sadness within. She looked at the large pile in her hands. Laurie reached out to take her list, and that was when the accident happened. She didn’t know how, but she tripped and fell on a stray book. “No!”, shouted Laurie as she and her books went flying. She accidentally crashed into another young girl, just her age. She could only shout ‘Look out’ before they crashed, head first into each other. Laurie muttered her apologies and studied the person she had crashed into. She had blue eyes, just like Laurie, and beautiful red hair.
“Hi! What’s your name, and are you going to Hogwarts, too?” Laurie asked, with a curious expression on her face.

Hashline entered this large and mysterious store in Diagon Alley for the first time. Tons of books, sometimes very dusty, were arranged by size on the high shelves. She observed them all, their colors, their textures, their smells came to her .This place was so quiet that it could be mistaken for a library. Her favorite book to read as a child was "Under the Blood Moon" a book about vampires and werewolves. a romance between a wolf and a vampire she adored. Hashline was there to do her shopping, and the works she needed to acquire were numerous, she started with the first book on her list: Magical Drafts and Potions by Arsenius Jigger, where could she find it?

Suddenly, when she wasn't expecting it, someone crashed into her and knocked her to the ground.
It was a young girl, about his age, dark-haired, rather cute, who introduced herself directly.

Ouch! Oh, are you okay? You stumbled upon the book I'm looking for! Hihi, it's funny! My name is Hashline and you? Yes, I'm going to Hogwarts this year !

Hash reached out his hand to the girl to help her up.
Was a friendship developing between his two young daughters? Hashline hopes so because it is always good to make friends before entering a new Life.
