Coriolanus took advantage of his first free hour after transfiguration class to go to the library for the first time. Transfiguration and charms classes were his favorites, although potions classes had caused him a bit more sleep than any other. Even history of magic (which seemed to be hated by most of the other students) had sparked a lot of interest in him. After all, Coriolanus was a little being passionate about great stories. The silence that reigned over the dark corridors of the library was almost deafening, except for the sound of pages turning and chairs being discreetly moved every now and then when someone sat down. It was certainly the largest collection of books he had ever seen in his entire life. He went to the librarian and asked him to recommend an old book with clearer information about the construction of the castle. He chose one of the tables far away in a brighter corridor with windows. He sat down and began to leaf through it while he waited. His watch didn't work for some reason, Jacob had told him something about personal clocks not working within the castle's confines. But there was a clock hanging on the walls of each corridor of the library and they seemed to work normally - as did all the others scattered throughout the castle. It was as if it were a gear operated in synchronization and obviously through heavily planned magic, he still hadn't understood exactly how it worked but he spent a lot of time thinking about it. The fact was that he had decided to go there not only to search through all the books he could for information about the places in the castle but also because he was waiting to meet Astrid so they could decide where to start exploring. He was eager to get started and wanted to do it as soon as possible.

It was a blessing that Astrid had coincidentally been sorted into the same house as him. He could hardly believe it. If he had to take a guess he would say that she would be sorted into Slytherin. But who would be so foolish as to question the unpredictability of the Sorting Hat? He certainly wasn't even able to understand one hundred percent why he had been sorted into Ravenclaw with all those brilliant and intelligent students. But he decided that if he was already there, he would do his best to be on par with all those Ravenclaws. Even if that meant studying until his eyes fell out of his head. The fact is that Astrid being sorted with him was like a blessing that had fallen from the heavens. He missed having someone to talk to and more than that, he wanted to finally be able to explore all of that and he wouldn't do it alone. The schedule he had to fulfill now was quite full, with all the classes and homework, on Saturdays he would watch Jacob's training from the stands of the Quidditch stadium; but he knew that there was some way for him and Astrid to set aside some time to get to know everything. He waited patiently as he flipped through page by page and made notes about little things that he found interesting and looked out the window every now and then to enjoy the majestic view of the green field. He felt his eyes starting to get tired as he rested his forehead on the table. A familiar voice woke him up just as he was about to doze off.

Rt. Honourable:
Mr. C.A. Josten Minyard.
