Lucretcia had just finished brushing her teeth and getting into her Pajama's for the night. the first couple of days had been...interesting. Between her peppy roommate and Prat she had a knack of running into extrovert's and it was...exhausting to say the least, but there hadn't been anyone overly awful to her yet. Sure there was the looks, and hushed whispers some times but that comes with having the complexion of a corpse and an expression that looks like you forgot how to smile a long time ago. She was walking through the common room to grab a book so he had something to read while waiting for sleep to eventually claim her when she saw a couple of girls walking past heading towards their bathrooms because....they were...

Bleeding

Lucretcia's eyes locked on the open cut on the girls palm as they grew closer and her throat tightened. She could smell the copper in the air and she could feel her retractable fangs starting to poke out of her gums as the desire to grab the girls hand and bite in screamed in her ears. Panic exploded through her body and without a word she turned and ran, as fast as the adrenaline pumping through her veins would let her. out of the common room, down the hall, where she was going? She certainly didn't know.

She shouldered a door open and hurried inside and she noticed stalls and toilets, she was in the girls lavatory. She quickly made her way to the sinks and looked at herself in the mirror and she saw her fangs extended, her pupils dilated, she could even swear there was a red sheen to her normal icy blue eyes but that had to be a figment of her imagination. She was hyper ventilating, her panicked breaths reverberating off the tile in the silent room. She turned on the tap and splashed some water on her face, before gripping the sink as a sob gripped her throat.

She moved away from the sink and put her back against the wall and slid into a sitting position, pulling her legs to her chest as she held her head. Her fangs slowly retracted back into her gums but the panic was still real. She nearly jumped on another student, she could still feel that hunger gnawing at her. She had never dealt with this alone before...maybe she was just a freak, a monster. She knew she shouldn't have come to this school.

Her breathing was still coming in short rough gasps, occasional sobs breaking their way through causing her to cough as she sat alone in this empty bathroom, wishing she was back home.

A certain red fox was strolling around the halls of Hogwarts past curfew, not really concerned about getting caught because who really bothered looking for foxes around the castle? And people tended not to notice things they weren't looking for or expecting. It wasn't the first time he had gotten away with such a thing, after all, and he doubted it would be his last.

But as he wandered the quieting halls, the vulpine's ear twitched at the sound of someone sobbing in a bathroom. The creature stopped to listen, head cocked and ear swerving, until he pinpointed the source of the sound and immediately bolted off to go investigate. When he got there, he barely registered that the door behind which someone was crying was a door to a girl's lavatory. What did that matter to a fox? So he slipped inside, not bothering to worry about anyone spotting him and freaking out that he was a boy.

Within the lavatory, the sound of crying was amplifed as it bounced off the tile walls and echoed back at the room's occupants. The fox approached slowly, cautiously, as he noticed the source with her back against the wall and her legs pulled close to ther chest. He regarded her for a moment from a distance, trying to figure out if he could judge exactly for what reason she was crying simply by observing her, but eventually gave up. She was in pain just then and he didn't have the heart to make her suffer any longer just waiting for him to see if he could properly utilize his deduction skills.

The red-pelted animal trotted over to her with a strangely concerned look, whimpering and whining before attempting to paw at her leg to get her attention. She seemed quite young. A first year, perhaps? But what was she doing out of her dormitory so late past curfew? Had she perhaps gotten lost...?

Lucretcia was fighting the panic and fear that was tearing at her heart when she heard a soft padding and she noticed movement infront of her. She flinched instinctively but instead of a person she was look at a fox infront of her. She blinked a few times, her vision a little blurry from tears. Lucretcia rubbed her sleeve against her eyes to clear them up, thinking she had to be seeing whatever it was wrong because of it. She swallowed hard as she looked at the Fox that most certainly was infront of her and she was pulled from her spiraling out of curiosity and confusion.

Normally animals could smell she was wrong and kept their distance or got on edge. Cats hissed, dogs barked, most other things just ran. So why was this fox coming closer to her? The fox pawed at her leg and let out a whine of sorts. Was it lost? Scared? surely it couldn't be aware enough to know she was upset. She knew some witches or wizards had familiars but those were usually Cats, Birds or sometimes toads. As far as she was aware they werent foxes, at the very least they werent on the approved pet list she had gotten.

She extended a shaky hand towards the fox, offering her scent. She was sure once the animal got a proper smell of her and her tainted blood it would turn tail and flee. If the fox remained however she would move a shaky hand towards its head, attempting to pet the animal. She had always wanted to pet the dogs or cats she saw but nothing had ever let her pet it before.

"You shouldn't be here you know..." she said softly, her usual cold voice tinged with the pain she was filled with "I'm a monster, were dangerous. Especially at night."
