It had been a few weeks since Aria had received her acceptance letter from Hogwarts. She had finally let it sink in that she was actually going to live at Hogwarts. So far, she had felt nothing but excitement. But as she started packing for school, and this reality came closer, she started to feel new emotions about it all too.

Aria scanned around her room for her last items she needed to pack. She already packed her cauldron, loads of robes and white collared shirts, and all the books she has. She doesn't have all the books she needs for school, but tomorrow she will be taking a trip to Diagon Alley with her brother and mother to get the rest of her supplies. Aria took a good long look at the packing list in her hand. It seemed that she had packed all the essentials, (besides the stuff she hasn't bought at diagon alley yet,) so now it was time to pack all the stuff she was going to bring for herself. Aria immdietly started towards her bed, where her stuffed elephant lived named "Biggy". Aria was given Biggy by her father who had passed away when she was little. Biggy was probally one of the most precious things she owned becasue of this.

I really want to bring Biggy, but will the other kids think it's weird that I still have a stuffed animal?

Aria looked at Biggy, and finally decided he was allowed to come, but had to stay tucked away underneath her covers until nighttime. Aria sat on the floor in the middle of the room starting to feel all the feelings she hasn't felt yet. How strange will it be, not going to bed every night in this house? Aria hasn't slept anywhere besides her own room since her father passed. She didn't even have sleepovers at her best friend Sami's house!

Aria pull yourself together. It's going to be amazing at Hogwarts. You need to stop worrying!

With that, Aria zipped her trunk closed and went to bed so she could be ready for her trip to Diagon Alley the next day.
