To entirely understand Kyan's story we have to start at where it all began. There was a time that Kyan did not remember when he belonged to a family of criminal witches and wizards that presided in the dark underbelly of Dublin. He was the son of Dracon Drayce, a man notorious known to the Gaelic's as 'the dragon'. He ran a criminal empire with a humble following of local dark wizards, particularly dabbling in the occult and illegal trade of ancient magical artifacts. He was a Pureblood.

Kyan's mother, a Muggleborn had fell in love with Dracon and conceived Kyan long before he had fallen into his dark and despicable role among the gang of dark wizards. They had met at Hogwarts, where Dracon had been placed into Slytherin and Amelia was sorted into Ravenclaw. He was different then (much like Kyan now) he was charasmtic, charming, ambitous and full of promise. It was only after the birth, with the struggle to provide and the lack of adventure that Dracon was lead astray. He lied to his wife and did despicable, unlawful things which resulted in him been sent to Azkaban for the rest of his life.

Amelia took her chance to escape. She removed her sons memories using her wand and took the three year old back to her mothers neighborhood of Dalkey, vowing they would live 'muggle' life free of Kyan understanding his father's heinous crimes for as long as she possibly could. Now he lives there with his muggle stepfather and stepsister Caleb and Tilly.

Almost 80 percent of Kye's life so far has been lived believing he was a muggle boy who had tragically lost his father in car collision when he only three, so when he received a letter about Hogwarts he was obviously shocked. His mother explained that he was a wizard but kept his fathers truths hidden, and asked if they could keep it 'there own little secret' and he understood why. Although he didn't much care for Caleb and Tilly was a brat, his mother loved them, so he agreed to visit Hogwarts in secret and pass it off as a boarding school his father saved for him to attend in London, and not to reveal there true identities to them. He would prefer it that way anyway.

So Finally, Eleven year-old Kyan Drayce is set to step foot in his dad’s old stomping grounds but having never known his father - just what does he know about Dracon Drayce? Charming, charismatic and ambitious, Kyan appears to have adapted his father’s good traits, but will he share his dark side too?

The first thing you’ll notice about Kyan Drayce is that he’s probably noticing you.

Kyan likes to watch, likes to know, likes to figure out. Don’t mistake him, though, for some noble pursuer of knowledge for knowledge’s sake. That’s not what’s going on here at all. Kye--as he likes to be called--is a relentless collector of human truths, for better or worse, for richer or poorer, for all that boatload of romantic garbage. he’s a realist, and he’s forever pushing the boundaries--yours, mostly, if he’s taken an interest in you--to find the real truth of life, those things that, ugly or ugly beautiful, make people do what they do with whom they do it.

The second thing you’ll notice about him is that he is unapologetically cool.

He’s got other hobbies, of course, but being cool is his favorite one. He has curated himself very carefully, to be someone people want to know. He is charismatic, charming, cute and someone people tend to trust and open up around.

Is he more than you bargained for? Absolutely. Is he totally worth it? he’d roll his eyes if you even had to ask.

What is said of Slytherins born under all other signs is doubly true of Slytherins born under Scorpio. (Or was it that what is said of Scorpios is doubly true of Scorpios sorted into Slytherin?) Conversely, three successive heads of the Wizengamot have possessed chestnut and unicorn wands, for this combination shows a predilection for those concerned with all manner of justice.

This is one of the rarest core types. Phoenix feathers are capable of the greatest range of magic, though they may take longer than either unicorn hair or dragon heartstring cores to reveal this. They show the most initiative, sometimes acting of their own accord, a quality that many witches and wizards dislike.
