She never thought there’d be a day when they didn’t have any seats in an actual magic train, some of the people she fairly knew were all already filled with their own compartments. Well, she was after all somewhat late so it’s a fifty-fifty part her fault, fifty-fifty an actual magical train. Truthfully speaking, for the young and naive girl, she felt like a beggar trying to find any place that could at the very least welcome her and isn’t filled with just boys. She’d be very uncomfortable about it since she knew very well the consequences her brothers and father reminded her of when it comes to boys, though what can the girl do? She’s just a silly little girl trying to befriend anyone she can find, and a very dashing one too. Especially looking at her attention record..she’s not one most would miss and depending on who, leave alone. Maybe it’s because she was quite intimidating to approach to others her, but the young girl was very oblivious to why in the whole world could anyone think she was intimidating to begin with, well, sort of.

Finally, the young girl found one compartment without anyone filling it, just a peaceful one with enough space for all of her belongings and not that much sunlight, it gave the best view of the train and she was forever grateful…perhaps the rumors of the train perhaps being somewhat sentience was true, and even if it wasn’t, she was still very grateful as she took out a sigh of relief before sitting down to look at the window of the train.

She made sure no one was looking at her first and foremost as she slouched down and enjoyed the comfy feeling of the sofa, as well as the facillities they gave. It was good that her mother made her enough food for the ride, considering it’s be 9 hours long. Hopefully nothing full of surprises would happen to her soon, she was already tired enough at the thought of how long it’s going to take them to get there. If this is what they have to do every single year then she’d rather opt out and get herself her own driver. As she looks down at the grassy field of the mighty queen’s land, she couldn’t help as her thoughts filled up with more of her home, it was already hard enough as she cried to her family that she didn’t want to be apart from them, let alone leave them. She was scared of being left alone, and so were her family. It was a tearful goodbye, one that she still wasn’t ready to cry about again with tear marks still on her eyes and soon more new ones. And soon enough as she forcefully made herself be filled with happy thoughts and deep calm breaths, she was ready to face the world again head on. It truly was a good thing that she left a spare carry-on bad to bring her necessities with, especially something refereshing for her skin, her toner and one thta would be able to hide her tear marks. She threw them away before looking back at the beautiful window, soon drifting herself to the beautiful sound called sleep. Or so she thought…

Lucretcia stood on the platform with her mother already miserable and wanting to go home. Her father was too busy to pulled away from his work to come see her off, but he really really wanted to be there so her mother said but Lucretcia knew the truth. He was mostly happy to have the little monster out of the house so he could be free of the constant reminder. Her mother was teary eyed, seeing her little princess go away and had even managed to get Lucretcia into a dress but atleast it was in a style she liked. Black and purple with lace around the neck and a simple corset, not that she had a figure to show off with it yet. The one point she wouldn't budge on was instead of the heels her mother wanted her to wear she was wearing her usual boots that came up to her mid shins and had her black eye liner and eye shadow with the only real color on her face besides her blue eyes being the dark plum lipstick.

after one too many hugs and kisses from her mother she was able to finally get onto the train and start to walk through the compartments trying to find an empty one to sit in but all of them had groups of other kids, laughing talking some crying, one she was pretty sure was on fire based on the smoke coming from under the door. She Grew increasingly frustrated every step of the way until finally she saw what she thought was an empty cabin so she slipped inside only to see another girl there. she closed her eyes and let out a slight sigh but a single other person was better than a group so it would have to do.

She tucked some of her shoulder length black hair behind her ear before closing herself off by crossing her arms. "Sorry to intrude...do you mind if I sit in here?" there was a cold edge to her tone and a hard expression as if she had long ago forgotten how to smile as she looked towards the other girl. She looked like she was around her age and wasnt wearing anything that screamed that she belonged to a house so maybe this was a fellow first year. Better than someone who was a returning student, that meant the chances of more people showing up and joining them was lower...atleast she hoped.

She looked outside the window at the country side and felt a pit forming in her stomach. she really was leaving and heading to hogwarts wasnt she? a quick glance saw a curtain on the window so atleast there would be a way to keep the sun off of her during this trip. Her eyes glanced back towards the other girl and she offered a slight shrug, already self concious "I can leave if its a problem, no big deal"

I rina was quick to get her act together, despite being startled by the girl. She was not prepared to be interrupted, let alone having to be in the same compartment with someone who was in her first impression, judging from the rough edges and her somewhat unruly hair but very striking features, had a very...dark presence like a looming one, it reminded her of a bat. It also reminded her of something she read in muggle fashion books and magazines, she believes it was something along the lines of emo or goth fashion. Well, the girl didn't have style that's for sure judging from her lack of care in her persona, but she had a vibe that was enough to make Irina clutch her own edges.

She was definitely either someone Irina had a gut feeling she would definitely avoid or perhaps someone with much more to her than meets the eye. Even the young girl herself was aware that she had that same effect on others, much like a double-edged sword. She took a look at herself, just a glimpse as the sun reflected her sea-like greyish blue eyes and smiled softly at the girl, making sure the creases in her eyes were apparent to make it look genuine. But was it genuine at all? Well almost, but more close to none. She thought it would be a delightful experience, until she heard her voice and...is that a sigh? They literally just met how can the bat-girl be tired already? Maybe she's one of those people who dislikes social interaction, well it definitely suits her. She reminds her of a character she read a long time ago too...Tuesday? Friday? She forgot, and hell it didn't even matter. "Sorry to intrude...do you mind if I sit in here?" Irina nodded in a very excited manner, like a golden retriever dog. Well, she would make a pretty good one too.

"I can leave if its a problem, no big deal" She was quick with he gestures and her hand. Despite the new guest's hardness, Irina decided to overlook it and decided that it would be best to have someone to talk to, instead of crying her heart out over leaving her family behind, well that would be an understatement, leaving everything behind to a place she's only ever heard of in the news or from her brothers. "Oh no! It's totally fine, please, make yourself comfortable!" She cheerily gestured towards the opposite end of her seat.

This was either going to be a very not-so-bad start of the day or a very not-likable start of the year. To her, as she took another quick up-down look at the girl, there was no in between and she could only hope for the best. Well Irina was going to make the best of it either way, even if meant testing enough boundaries..

Lucretcia couldn't help but notice just how cheerful and excitable the other girl in here was and her first thought was to quickly flee from the cabin and just find a place in the hall to sit, maybe she should get told to get off the train if she did that. double victory. Instead she closed her eyes briefly and shook her head slightly, she needed to get out of that mindset or at the very least try or this was going to be an incredibly long year for her. She nodded and mumbled a thanks before she stepped inside fully and shut the cabin door behind her. She sat across from the other girl to atleast have the degree of separation, which is part of the pleasure of having so few people in one compartment. She messed with her hair some as she looked out the window and saw the world zooming past, taking her farther and farther from her comfort zone. a sad frown tugged at her cold expression for a moment before she swallowed and choked back those feelings.

she glanced towards the other girl, and her smile but as she looked she could tell the girl had been crying recently, or at the very least recently enough for the evidence of it to be left behind to anyone observant. All too familiar with her own depths of sorrow she didn't want to make things worse for this girl who she now assumed was putting up a front of being happy. She fidgeted with a piece of lace on her dress before finally speaking

"Lucretcia...avoid shortening it if you can" she stopped her fidgeting and rummaged through her bag. She was looking for something specific and lets out a slight sigh as she sees her mother had snuck cookies in when she wasnt paying attention. how could a woman so bright be so sneaky at times. She pulled out and unwrapped what looked like a dark red square shaped candy on stick. She popped it in her mouth and held out a plastic container with some home made cookies inside. "Want them? They are just going to get wasted if noone eats them. " she tried her best to take her usual cold edge out of her voice, with mixed success, at the very least while not overly strong her Irish accent could be heard.

Well, that was unexpected. At firsthand Irina was as nervous as the girl was, if not more, underneath all that bubbly and charismatic exterior, she was still a genuine little girl, for now at least. "Huh, that's...I mean, thanks! I guess? Haha.." She laughed softly in the end to tease the awkward air.

She made sure to thank the girl, taking the candy with a wider grin and an even more ecstatic energy. Perhaps even Irina herself was wrong on her first impression, and her lack of taste in fashion, not to mention hair-care, to be honest it didn't matter to her as much as others would think it does, well, on others only, but to herself? Irina was the absolute beauty paragon. It was common for her to compare it deep down, as much as she would deny it. In fact, she found the girl's ashy skin and icy blue eyes beautiful, yet very cold. Like Irina was standing face to face with a glacier ready to fall down on her, without heaven's mercy. She stood firm despite of the presence. She didn't mind the strange accent, well it definitely added to the vibe. Feeling a bit guilty over her first impressions, Irina decided to be a bit more straightforward to the girl. Fortunately to her surprise, a cart passed by filled with many snacks and toys for all to enjoy, including Irina, most definitely.

A seemingly very sweet old lady passed by them, offering carts full of perhaps sugarless...or sugary but not too sugary sweets. It was like a breath of fresh air, or finding a needle in a haystack for Irina, call her dramatic but she dreads the silence unless it's with a close friend. And the girl that seemingly came out of a vampire movie in front of her was by all means not a friend...yet, or well, it's a fifty-fifty chance. More towards the girl than Irina. "Hello dearies, would you like something?" The old lady questioned them, her hand gesturing towards the heavenly cart(Irina doesn't even like sweets). There were tons of assortments, ranging from sour to sugary treats that may or may not send you straight to the hospital unless fixed with magic. Irina perked her head up and leaped out of her seat, looking around, until she finally found a chocolate frog. Her neck turned towards Lucretcia, as an idea sparked in her mind, like a tiny little lightbulb floating by, her eyes smiled as she ordered, "Two chocolate frog please! Thank you in advance!" The old lady nodded as she gave the beaming girl two chocolate frogs. She was grinning ear to ear, "Lucretcia look!-" Thank goodness she could spell her name right, "-chocolate frogs! It's my first time seeing them, I hear they're very delicious." Irina made sure to pay the lady her dues, before finally sitting down back down, as the sound of the trolley cart floated away into the distance.

'Oh-right, almost forgot..' Irina thought to herself, jumping out of her seat once more to give Lucretcia one of the chocolate frogs, "Think of it as an introductory gift."Irina smiled cheerily, though it might as well be a subconscious apology. Slowly, and finally regaining her composure from all that rush, she sat back down and opened the chocolate frog, her eyes widening just a little bit the moment she realized that the frog had jumped straight to Lucretcia's mouth, like a true frog's kiss...

...not really. As her smile didn't even have the time to turn into an outward panic, she couldn't help but be left in yet, another state of panic, well at least it was enough to replace the tear marks. It was obvious that she was saying words not very child-friendly in the back of her mind, oh boy.
