Unofficial Dodgeball

I made a joke in the discord server and here I am, doing something that cannot possibly go wrong for your characters at all.

What is dodgeball?

A muggle game played with much violence! Acacia, my iNPC decided to run a game after hearing that a lot of wizards had never heard of the game. No childhood is complete without injuries from it. The current plan is to have a tournament style series of games, with teams determined by schools and houses (if we get enough players of course). While you can sign up both your PC and iNPC, if they are versing each other you will be asked to have one of your characters sit out. I will try and juggle this so that both characters get to play all games but no guarantees. This event takes place during summer camp, exact date undecided

How does one play?

Rules and actions below the reducio! Three hits and you are out, last team standing wins the round and advances to the next game (if there ends up being multiple games). There are half the team + 3 balls in the game

Actions

Throw- Your character targets another (from the opposing team) player with a dodgeball you must be holding a ball. If successful, the target loses one of their 3 "points"
Accuracy Vs Evasion roll, higher number wins
Critical failure: Targets a random member of your team
Critical Success: After hitting/missing the target, bounces off them to a player behind them (randomly chosen)

Catch- Your character catches a dodgeball (randomly chosen from thrown balls). If successful, the thrower loses one of their 3 "points"
Accuracy Vs Opponents Accuracy to catch the thing, Strength DC of opponents STR plus 5 to hold on to it for the next round
Critical failure: You fumble the ball and it touches you, loosing a point
Critical Success: Auto hold on to the ball, no need for STR check

Dodge- Your character actively dodges the ball
Plus 5 to evasion for that round
No rolls needed

Grab- Your character runs to grab a ball (needed to throw)
Contested accuracy rolls between everyone grabbing balls, if none are left on the ground nothing happens
Critical failure: Slip and hit your head, -1 to accuracy for the next round
Critical Success: Grab the ball and get back fast enough in time to also actively dodge that round, adding the normal +5 to evasion for that round

Cast- Cheat and attempt to cast spells on the other team
Rolled like dueling spells, cheating DC of lowest wisdom of the teams +15
Critical failure: Normal for that spell
Critical Success: Normal for that spell
You can cast a damage dealing spell, but only the effects will be counted since there isnt health in this game

Over the centre line throw- Throw from over the center line you must be holding a ball
Like a normal throw, but +5 to accuracy. Cheating DC of lowest wisdom of the teams +10
Critical failure: Auto- caught for your cheating ways
Critical Success: Auto- get away with your cheating ways

Kick- Kick the ball at a player from the other team you must be holding a ball
Rolled like a throw, but with advantage. Cheating DC of lowest wisdom of the teams +10
Critical failure: targets a random player from your team
Critical Success: After hitting/missing your target, it bounces off them to another player from the opposing team (randomly picked)

Headshot- Aim for the opposing players head you must be holding a ball
Rolled like a throw, but upon hit target gets -3 to all stats for the rest of the game. Cheating DC of lowest wisdom of the teams +5
Critical failure: Auto-caught for your cheating ways
Critical Success: After hitting/missing your target, it bounces off them to another player from the opposing team (randomly picked). Normal throw, not another headshot

Rules
-If caught cheating, your character sits the next round out on the bench
-If you don't post that round, your action is forfeit
-Team captains must send their teams actions to me via owl, please dont hint at them in your posts! Strategizing with your team is encouraged
-Cheating is encouraged
-Still tweaking a lot of things, yes my cheating DCs probably aren't balanced! This is to encourage cheating. I mean whattt
-The minimum cheating DC is 13
