As a treat of having graduated, I decided to get myself a furry friend! While mom says I am too young to take care of anything, I would like to try.

I walk in and the store greets me with an array of squeaks, croaks, barks and meows. Owls hooting from their porches, like royalty. Quite like them were the cats, majestically seated, while the very young ones playfully rolled along. There were pups, toads and pygmy puffs as well. But for some reason, I had already set my mind on getting a cat, or more like, a cute kitten.

First up were the silver Siberians, majestic and cute. Their coat would ensure their warmth in the surprising cold here at Hogwarts. While the young were yet to grow some fur, their beautiful eyes kept calling me in. Then there were the Mackerels, cute ones. I heard they have a unique personality of their own, which seems something tempting for my curiosity, but well, let's keep moving. Up next was the Egyptian Mau, a smart and shy breed. They love hanging around their owners a lot, if I am right. The senior who had this, literally had the cat nestled on her shoulders at all times, and I found that extremely cute. It could be my companion everywhere! Of course, classes are usually off limits, and maybe I can't give 24/7 time to it, but I hope to have it with me at all times elsewise. Maybe its the clinginess, but I am leaning towards this for now. While I was stationed by the bunch of young Egyptian Maus, a snowy furball tumbled in my direction and longingly rubbed its back against my fingers. I immediately felt attacked by its cuteness! I carefully and gently lift up the little furball and nestled it in my palms, holding it against my chest. It had faint grey stripes, but from afar, it could easily be mistaken as snow. You know what, this is it!

I turn to the old store owners and ask, "May I know about this little furball?"

The old lady smiled, "Ah, she is one of our new ones. Perhaps a year old now."

Oh! A she?

"Is this the one for you, young lady?" The old lady smiled.

Well at this point, its written on stone. While I nod in reply, I ask, "Can you spare me the details of how to care for her? Her food habits, habits in general. Oh, what should I buy for her? She will be needing a few things I presume? How does she deal with being alone? Will she be alright?"

The owner smiles and patiently replies to all my questions.
