Abbey was home alone and had just woken up. She was sitting in her bed wearing her striped pink pyjamas set. Her room was quite small and had only space for a small desk, a bed and nightstand, a chair and herself. Her room had a dark blue wallpaper filled with band and movie posters and a dark brown wooden floor. The door was white with stickers all over it. She had a thin body mirror next to her nightstand and her drawer was right outside next to her door, in the upstair corridor. Abbey’s family’s house is an old normal sized house with a quite big garden. For her family the house is way to small and theres always a lot off sound like laughter and talking in the house that’s heard from about every room because of the thin walls. Her family lives in a big neighbourhood a little outside central Liverpool and there’s people walking by their house pretty often. Therefore it’s usually a lot of laughter and talking heard from outside the house too.

Abbey exited crawls out of her bed and walks out her room to her drawer to find an outfit for the day. She after some time of thinking finds her favourite jeans and a green and orange hoodie. She also decides to just wear a basic white t shirt. The jeans are dark blue with a baggy fit. Abbey loves wearing baggy clothes. She does like to wear feminine clothing too like skirts and dresses, but usually wears a bit more masculine clothes like her baggy jeans.

After getting ready Abbey makes herself a jam sandwich for the train and puts in a metal lunchbox. She puts the lunchbox into her suitcase so she’s not going to forget it later and then makes another sandwich she can eat for breakfast. Abbey sits at the dining table staring out one of the windows out to the garden. She thinks about what her family is doing in London right now and if she should have just left with them yesterday. Her family had left Liverpool a day earlier so it wouldn’t be as much stress taking the train from Liverpool to London. Leaving a day earlier they knew that if they didn’t make it on the train in time they could just try again tomorrow. Luckily for her parents they made it and was now at a hotel nearby platform 9 3/4. Abbey didn’t want to join them because she knew that this was most likely going to be the only chance of being home alone she was going to get in a really long time. She also had never taken the train alone before and thought that would be kinda cool too. Therefore she chose to stay at home and leave Liverpool on the same day the Hogwarts Express was leaving to go to Hogwarts. Her parents told her they were fine with her not going with them yesterday as long as she could meet them at Platform 9 3/4. That meant she would have to walk from a station to another, but that didn’t seem like a problem to her so she had told her parents with excitement that she was fine with meeting up with them.
