A curious bookstore.
As Branwen had been walking down the streets of Diagon Alley trying to gather the rest of her school supplies needed, she came across 'Flourish and Blotts'. 'Ah, here we go. Books, I would definitely need those' she thought to herself.
Branwen started to walk up to the obviously weathered pine green door, when all of a sudden there was a loud crashing sound and multiple thuds to the right of her. She quickly looked to the right, and had seen someone trying to gather their things. Branwen snickered and said out loud to the obviously distraught boy "You should be more careful when you're walking. There's no reason for such clumsiness."
The boy looked up at her and smiled, "I knew I recognized that condescending tone from anywhere."
Branwen smiled back at him. It was her childhood best friend, Keyadual.
He gathered the rest of his things and walked in her direction. Once arriving to the area where she was standing in, he sighed, "There is a lot of items on this list. Obviously necessary, I hope. I'm nearly almost done. Just heading off to Ollivander's to get my wand. I'm nervous." Branwen looked at the boy and smirked, "You have nothing to worry about. The wand chooses the wizard, that's what my brother has said, at least. It'll hopefully be a breeze for you.". "Hope to see you soon, Desdemona. Maybe I'll see you on the train." Keyadual ran off to Ollivander's, leaving the girl with a bit more confidence about attending her new school, Hogwarts.
Branwen finally opened the doors of the shop and walked in. She was lost for words, her jaw dropped. Amazed at just how many books there were in some of the most confined bookshelves. She had never really seen anything like this store before, even the bookstore in her town wasn't as gorgeous as this.
She started to look around, noticing all of the different types of books surrounding her. Her first view on the stairs was that she had a strong feeling they were enchanted, almost everything seemed as if it was enchanted, or more so, enchanting.
Branwen started to walk around, collecting all of the books that were required. By the end of her scavenger hunt, she noticed a girl staring at her from afar. Eye contact was most definitely not one of Branwen's favourite things, so she looked away very quickly. She continued on her path and was ready to pay, leaving her with more excitement for the upcoming schoolyear, especially now that she completed her whole list.
