Nemea Starr | First Year | Ravenclaw
This is going to be awful and simple, my bad; if I find inspiration, I'll try to make it better.
Full Name: Nemea Starr
House: Ravenclaw
Age: 11
School Year: First Year
Species: Human
Sexuality: Unlabeled
Gender: Cisgender Female
Nemea is a 11 year old girl with curly, black hair, that she usually keeps out of her face using butterfly-shaped clips. She has deep, green eyes (inherited from her mother)and freckles across bridge of nose, though no one else in her family seems to have them. There are scars on her knees from tripping a lot as a clumsy child. She is assigned female at birth and identifies as a female.
Nemea is mostly quiet but friendly to anyone, unless they've done something truly awful. She is able to hold a conversation and interact with others but prefers to be left alone outside of school, as she feels it is the only place where she can really relax. Her hobbies include: reading, writing, and collecting crystals. She is passionate about defending those who are mocked/shunned by society for no logical reason. Nemea was diagnosed with autism when she was 7 but it doesn't make her any less capable and hates to have it seen as such. She likes to dye the tips of her hair random colors but only in the holidays as her primary school banned it.
Nemea was raised by a single, muggle mother (Joan Starr) and her family consists of an older brother (16) and two younger sisters (4 and 7). The family are part of the working class in society and the children all attended a typical British primary school, though her brother is now in his first year of college. Nemea is the only non-muggle in the family, currently, and doesn't have contact with her father; she knows him, just doesn't care to visit or acknowledge him. Why should she? He sucks.
Nemea's first instance of magic was when she was 8 years old. She had been reading, like she normally was, and her baby sister (only 1 at the time) was asleep next to her in a cot. Nemea was so deeply ingrained in the story she had been reading, her heart practically burst out of her chest when her sister awoke, wailing. Within seconds, she had managed to turn the entire room pink. Needless to say, when her mother ran in 30 seconds later, she was absolutely puzzled and terrified; nobody in the family knew of the existence of magic.
