English | Finnish | Russian | UkranianAnichka woke up and looked at her watch, she was annoyed with herself because she'd overslept. She liked to be up by 8 at the latest but what was done was done. She sat up and let out a frustrated sigh before she began preparing for the day. Every day began in the same way for her: she got up, dressed, and went for a run. She first put on her running clothes: a long-sleeved red t-shirt, medium-length black shorts, and a pair of black and red trainers. She then did her hair, which she always did regardless of what she was doing. On this occasion, she tied her hair back in a ponytail and went outside her tent. She started to stretch, the process taking about five minutes.
With that, she set off at a brisk rate around the campsite. Running always helped her clear her head and prepare her for the day. She was always able to get a good handle on what she was doing and needed to know. Plus, she just enjoyed being outside and people-watching as she was on her run. People were so odd and she just enjoyed seeing their idiosyncracies on display as she ran around the campground. Unfortunately, she got a bit too into her people-watching and bumped into a brown-haired girl around her age. "Vittu... anteeksi!" Shit... sorry! she steadied herself and look over at the girl, unsure if she needed help, before realizing she'd been speaking the wrong language, "Sorry," she began in broken English, "Wasn't looking where going... ok?"Interacting: @Rebecca Lark

𝓡unning errands was rather fraught when you had the cold tolerance of phosphoric acid. She felt like a very grumpy penguin, waddling to and fro as she went about her various summer camp responsibilities while testing the limits of exactly how many jumpers one girl could wear. She couldn't help but wonder if she had some sort of disease that kept her from retaining any heat and left her in a constant state Schrodinger's frostbite. If so, she hoped it was fatal, and that her death would be quick, painless, and, most importantly, soon.
One moment she was minding her own business, attempting to both walk and adjust her earmuffs with mitten-covered hands at the same time, and then the next she was ass over tea kettle in a snow bank with those little cartoon birdies flying around over her head. It wasn't quite as hard of a hit as when she'd been suplexed by a dragon back in December, and the additional six months of beater experience had made her significantly sturdier as well, so when she flashed two thumbs up at the stranger who'd bumped into her, the sentiment was genuine. She was okay, the cold wetness of the rapidly melting snow that had gone up her back and into her socks not withstanding.
"I'm good, I think." She said, reaching out a hand towards the unfamiliar girl. "Could you help me up? I hate it down here."

English | Finnish | Russian | UkranianAnichka was absolutely mortified by how stupidly clumsy she has been. She was just trying to go for a run but instead had bowled over some poor girl. Then, to make matters worse, she was so caught up in being mad at herself that she was now ignoring the girl's plea for help and felt her face going furiously red in embarrassment. Finally, she caught what the girl was saying to her and reached down to take her hand. It was cold to the touch and she immediately understood why the girl wanted out. Bracing herself so they both didn't topple over, she pulled the girl to her feet and attempted to brush to snow off of her. She was still very embarrased and very red.
She tried to compose herself and speak in a somewhat normal fashion, but once again she was struggling with her English, "I... so sorry..." She stammered, looking like she wished she could dematerialize and come out someone a couple of planets away. "You have... forgive... I from Finland and my English... shit." She blurted out, this just kept getting worse and worse. Why did she always have to be so awkward around new people.
She took a deep breath before trying to finish, "I am Anichka," she surveyed the girl carefully, she was kinda cute, "are you sure ok?" And with that she just stood there, uncomfortable in the knowledge that she was well on her way to staking her claim as the clumsiest idiot at summer camp. Why did this always happen to her? For someone as graceful as she could be running through a forest or flying on a broom, she was really good at making herself look an absolute tit.Action: Dying from cringeInteracting: @Rebecca Lark

ℱor a moment, the unfamiliar girl just stares at her while she spends a day in the life of an ice lolly, and Bex could feel her notoriously short temper flare up in indignation. Had she been able to think about it from a more objective perspective, perhaps she'd have been somewhat grateful to be miffed about the situation - being able to feel anger at being bowled over rather than blind panic that she'd been attacked was inarguably a marked improvement from where she'd been only a handful of weeks prior, and if anything was a testament to what the undisturbed sleep that had been gifted to her courtesy of Evelynn's potions had accomplished - but Bex was currently not thinking particularly complex thoughts from where she sat in nature's snowcone machine.
Having worked herself into a right lather by the time the girl had finally reached a hand out to help her up, Bex had been gearing up to tell the girl exactly where she could shove it, only for the girl to pull her up and begin... brushing snow off her?
In a sharp contrast to the chill currently enveloping her, the mix of anger and mortification brewing inside of her was cherry red hot, and far more potent than any potion they'd ever learn in class. There's nothing like a complete stranger patting you down to humble you in the weirdest of ways. "That's- Hey! You cant just assault someone and then start patting them, not cool!"
The other girl certainly looked equally as embarrassed as Bex herself felt, though that did little to soothe Hurricane Bex. The other girl's embaressed, stuttering English did manage to cool off the shrieking teapot that was her personality at least a little bit, like, from a category 5 down to a category 3, maybe. If she were to put herself into the other girl's shoes (Bex was not very good at this thought exercise, admittedly) then perhaps she could forgive some of the other girl's crimes for the sake of international relations. It was probably scary being somewhere where you didn't speak the predominant language. It didn't excuse the patting, sure, but it was a start.
"Anichka...?" She said, trying it out. She probably wasn't doing a great job pronunciation wise, but she gave it her all. "I'm Bex. I go to Hogwarts, I'm on the summer camp committee. And yeah, I'm fine, just cold and wet and my socks are squishy." She scrutinized the other girl. "Are you lost? Is that why you were running?"

English | Finnish | Russian | UkranianAnichka really was just trying to make things right and clean the snow off the girl but she quickly realized she had made a mistake. Before she even opened her mouth she could tell that the girl was... unhappy with her. Her embarrassment somehow had gone even deeper and while she didn't understand everything she certainly understood that she needed to stop brushing the snow off and she immediately recoiled away. She was so embarrassed her face was now even redder than her shirt. She was absolutely mortified.
She stood frozen in a mixture of embarrassment and shame as the girl scolded her and just started to sputter, "Ei, ei ei, olen pahoillani. Olen niin pahoillani!" No, no no, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry! Then she heard the word assault and she knew enough to know it was bad and she started to really freak out and was practically crying, "Ei kiitos, olen pahoillani, etten halua mennä Nurmengardiin!" No please, please I'm sorry I don't want to go to Nurmengard! The girl had really worked herself into a lather and unfortunately, that only served to get her even lathered further (truth be told she was approaching new record levels of lather).
The next time the girl spoke it was a bit softer. There was still some anger but it was not as bad and Anichka started to calm down. Slightly, but it was better than nothing. Now that Anichka was no longer freaking out she was having a better time understanding her. She'd never met anyone named Bex but she assumed it was like Cher or Bono or Sting. When asked if she was lost she giggled slightly before flashing red before going back to pink. She was afraid it had come off as mocking but it wasn't meant like that. "No, no," she answered with a warm smile as her face started to return to a normal color, "I run every day. I live in woods in Finland so I... hike? I think it hike, from very small. I very sorry run into you," she felt her start starting to ramble and stopped herself, "I go Durmstrang."Interacting: @Rebecca Lark
