In all honesty, the black and white haired girl didn't expect much from her roommates positively this year. But she also didn't expect much negativity as well, the detention they all served didn't come from nowhere. Ara didn't really regret anything that night. After all, it was mainly Jannette and Mari's fight she got in. She knew that Jannette was the cause of most of it. The Applebottom provoked Ara, then Mari shortly after. The young Villa at least held back in secretly insulting Jannette in her words but oh boy Mari was pissed all over a damned notebook. She couldn't help but wonder what was in those pages but not like it really matters anymore since they all got in trouble already.

She woke up rather early but took a while to get ready. Ara didn't eat breakfast as usual so lunch and/or dinner were her only meals for the day. The girl went to her morning classes as usual and focused on studying like she usually did. In between classes she would be advance reading topics from the syllabus. Currently, it was already lunch. Ara had to stop by at the library to return some books so she was quite late to lunch though she didn't really mind since she never had a big appetite.

The young Villa already had written her owl to parents about the whole dorm fiasco and detention but she still hasn't sent it and planned on doing it after eating. She was rather calm about it since her parents were rarely home and it was mainly her eldest brother, Peter running their manor. So almost every letter to her parents went through him before he took care of the matter. Ara didn't really want her eldest brother to know she got detention but it was better than her parents finding out. Peter isn't the type to snitch on his dearest little sister, right?

Arriving at the filled Great Hall, she didn't notice a familiar person at the head of the Slytherin table. In her own little bubble, Ara sat down at a random place near the end of the the table. The girl was distracted studying to really care who was next to her.

M ari watched the girl go to sit next to her Ara... Mari thought why Ara went to sit in that place, in fact, Ara had more reasons to be furious with Mari than the other way around, but on the other hand Ara seemed not to have noticed Mari (or else forgot, something that, given past events, was something impossible), but Mari observed that the girl was studying, like Mari, maybe that's why,..

Mari looked around sighing wondering if she should just ignore her, but deep down, Mari was putting everyone in the same bag, Mari tried and will try her best not to cross paths with Applebottom, but deep down Mari knew that Ara was not to blame, and that, seeing things well, she was even wronged, but Mari was incapable, at least at that time of an apology.

Mari knew that sooner or later Ara would notice Mari, so, Wolfson decided that it was already, Mair was not very friendly, much less on this day, so she decides to look at Ara simply and say her name "Ara..." as if Mari was also surprised, but at the same time serious, she had no idea how this lunch was going to go, maybe Ara was furious thinking that Mari was to blame, (something that Mari knows she wasn't, but she wouldn't mind Ara thinking either) or maybe not, and maybe it was a bad idea to have stood next to each other at that lunch, but, only time will tell!

The second year girl flipped a page as she sat down, not even bothering to get any food at first. Ara heard someone call her name and thought it was her brother reminding her to eat as usual. Edmund was quite the foodie and although the two siblings kind of despised each other, having to remind his sister to eat wasn't much of a problem to him. She rolled her eyes as she took some food and put it onto her plate before looking at "Edmund's" direction and boy it wasn't Edmund.

Mari, one of the two roommates who got her in detention was right next to her. 'Ah shi-' She thought internally before actually speaking, "Oh its you." she said blankly, looking her up and down before taking a bite out of her pasta. Ara tried her best to ignore both of her roommates yesterday and she supposed this was just karma for that. Well, at least it wasn't that pure-blooded elitist brat Applebottom, though the black and white haired girl was equally tired of both of them.

Though Mari had a reason to be mad at Applebottom, Ara didn't think it was necessary to jinx her. Well, at the end she also hexed Jannette but it was to just stop her from getting into a physical fight with Mari. The black and white haired girl lectured the two yet she still got in trouble. Yes she casted a spell on Applebottom but at least she did so with a reason besides anger for a notebook.

Ara mainly blamed Applebottom for the whole situation but she did have a bit of a grudge on Mari since technically she was the first who casted a spell and because of her damned notebook.

Now for some "miracle" she was now sitting next to Mari at lunch. Ara looked around and noticed there weren't many empty spaces at the Slytherin table, the only empty spaces were rather small. She sighed as she pinched the bridge of her nose..

Mwatched Ara in those seconds before she ... Greeting, well, greeting was definitely not the right word, perhaps, realizing that by an unfortunate miracle they stood beside each other. Ara seemed to have been frustrated to hear her name from Mari, but it wasn't that frustration of the type "Cool, I'm going to lunch next to one of the people who made me go to detention", it was different, probably didn't recognize the voice, or not, until she turned to Mari...

The astonishment on the face of the girl with black and white hair was visible, Mari raised her eyebrows slightly while Ara turned around rolling her eyes, and then becoming expressionless, Mari had the same face, but less terrified.

The night before had been... tense and meeting like this and being silent all lunch would be embarrassing, to say the least, enough, but Mari had nothing to say to Ara, not for now, so they were both silent for a few seconds until Mari notices the book Ara was reading "Great Wizards of the Twentieth Century, good book..."this was undoubtedly one of the few school books that Mari liked to read, Her uncle had it, (actually, what book didn't he have?), and she in her first summer at Hogwarts read it all.

Mari gave a small sigh before speaking "Great Wizards of the Twentieth Century... I like it, it's a good book" She says, still with the same expression,"Damn, why the hell did she have to land next to me today, today!"

Some god in the heavens- no, in hell must've picked Ara as their mortal to beat up. It was a curse for her to run into people she didn't want to see, people in general are beings she didn't want to see. Deep down, the young Villa knew it was somewhat pathetic of her to hold a grudge against someone she barely knew. Her argument to that was Well I got to know enough didn't I?'. Knowing herself, she'd probably ignore Mari at the dorm anyways after this.

Ara merely sighed before Mari started talking about the book in the dual colored haired girl's hand. It took her a while to contemplate if she even wanted to reply. 'It's better for me right now if I ignore her but that'll make things awkward right after and later in the dorm. But if I don't then it won't be that awkward. The only consequence is that she might try to talk to me later....Eh I don't care anymore' she quickly thought before speaking. "It's an ok book. Not geniusly worded or anything ... Just full of information." she said, neither looking up from the book nor even facing Mari. 'My luck is quite legendary isn't it?' she thought, internally punching a wall.

She couldn't deny that she did not want to see anyone she knew at the moment. 'Do I just talk to her or not?' she contemplated, 'Mari will probably keep on trying to talk with me anyways even if I don't want to...' Ara groaned internally. Somehow, would she be able to figure out how to get out of this unfortunate situation?
