Rachel adjusted the strap of her satchel, her new Huffpleuff badge gleaming against her robe. She held a crumpled piece of parchment in one hand with hastily drawn directions, her scrawl nearly illegible from the hurried writing. She squinted at the parchment and then at the corridor stretching ahead. “Turn right at the third suit of armor,” she muttered. She glanced around, spotting the first and second, but the third was nowhere to be found.

“I can't give up now,” she reassured herself, her bright blue eyes reflecting her unwavering determination. She took a few more steps, her dark hair bouncing with each stride, only to come face-to-face with a solid stone wall.

“This is getting more and more mysterious,” Rachel groaned, looking up and down the endless hallway. The torches flickered, casting dancing shadows on the walls, adding to the enigma. The castle seemed to be playing tricks on her, each turn and corridor looking similar to the last. The suits of armor stood silently, their empty visors watching her with a stern, almost mocking air.

Rachel sighed and looked at the parchment again, trying to understand her chaotic directions. “Maybe I should have asked for an escort,” she muttered, rubbing her forehead. But her pride had stopped her from seeking help; how hard could it be to find the library? She had only been at Hogwarts for a few days but was determined to master the castle’s layout.

The distant laughter echoed through the corridors, and Rachel held her breath. She was lost. She shook it off and started walking again, hoping to stumble upon a familiar landmark. Her heart sank as she passed the same tapestry a third time.

She stopped and leaned against the wall, letting a frustrated sigh escape her lips. With its promise of quiet study and the comforting presence of books, the library felt like it was a world away. With a deep breath, Rachel straightened, and continued to wander the halls. As she walked, she observed the beautiful tapestries that were nothing like she had seen in the muggle world. She was fascinated by the intricate details and the stories they might tell.

I wonder what these tapestries depict, she thought to herself. "You’d be able to tell if you could make it to the library,” she answered herself aloud. She suddenly found herself in a part of the castle she had never seen before. The air felt lighter, and she noticed a spiral staircase leading up to what looked like an ornate door with a bronze eagle knocker.

Rachel tilted her head, trying to figure out what the door led to. She quickly realized where she was as she heard the knocker begin to speak, "What has keys but can’t open locks?” the bronze eagle asked in a melodic tone.

“Oh, I’m not supposed to be here,” she said in response to the knocker, turning around and practically running from the talking eagle. She had decided that she would try to trace her steps back to her common room when she thought she heard the Ravenclaw standard room door creak open.

The Ravenclaw common room was quiet and full of blue, and bookshelves all over the place. And some telescopes too. Everyone stuck to their studies, or talking to their friends, but not too loud.

James was reading a book in his common room. Since the Ravenclaw common room was always quiet, it was perfect for his alone-time. But after a few minutes he finished the book he was reading. Great, he thought. I gotta go to the library for the next book. James got up, fixed his robes, and his proud Ravenclaw badge. James packed his bag with books. Here we go again,

James went in front of the door, and heard the knocker saying a riddle. "What has keys but can’t open locks?” James thought, a piano, of course. But what kind of riddle is that? The next second, James heard some muttering from a girl. A girl from another house tried to come to our common room? Is this a joke? James shook his head and pushed the door to go outside.

The first thing James saw was a girl, a hufflepuff girl going to the corridors. So it's her, she seems lost. Maybe it was not a prank. Hey! Where are you going? He asked, but a bit louder tone for her to listen.
