On the outside, the tent appears normal, if a bit run-down, lacking any sense of magic. It's a plain brown shade resembling mud. The tent has no noticeable attachments to connect it to the ground. One with a keen sense of smell might notice a strong smell of gingerbread and cookies wafting from the inside of the tent. To enter the tent, there are two simple flaps tied together with a candy cane-striped ribbon that its inhabitants can easily pull away.

Inside, the tent proves that it is far more magical than the outside seems. The inside is roomy and comfortable, making each student feel warm and cosy. In the middle of the tent, there is a sitting area and coffee table decorated with cookie making supplies. On the side of the room is everything the students could wish for if they wanted to bake or decorate cookies. By the entry of the tent is a list with the name of each student, their year, and school. Next to the beds are different dressers that resemble giant cookies, each with the ability to fit the clothes of two different people.

The bedding situation is just as warm and cosy as the rest of the tent. There are eight beds in the tent in bunk bed style. Each bed is fitted with sheets before the arrival of the students. The warm comforter and thin sheets, both gingerbread brown, smell vaguely of cinnamon and different spices. A ladder can be found to use to climb up to each bunk. If you're a fan of gingerbread or baking, this may be the tent for you!

What the hell! Why does this tent look like a toddler's playground?!

Jason Aguilar, with his short temper, coupled with the long trip from Brazil to England, immediately cursed inside after entering one of the Summer Camp tents. The Castelobruxo student had no idea that there were various tent themes provided by the Summer Camp committee. He entered randomly and found the Gingerbread House as his tent. He immediately think that the concept of the tent is too childish for him, even though in fact Jason himself is still a twelve-year old boy.

Luckily the smell of gingerbread, cookies and spices that entered his senses could made his mood a little bir better. "No problem. This is just a miscellaneous matter. I better focus on myself and the match in front of my eyes." He actually came to the Summer Camp just because of the Broom Racing competition between the Wizarding Schools. He glanced at the student list right beside the entrance and muttered, "Oh, there will be seven other people." The Brazilian boy is the first to arrive, the tent is looked like empty, there is no sign of anyone else.

Jason stepped to the right side of the tent entrance, went to the bunk bed closest to the entrance and took the top bunk. He was there just to put his big backpack on the bed with gingerbread brown sheets, then he approached the sitting area in the middle of the tent, took a gingerbread cookie and bit it while making coffee. He needed to comfort himself with something warm after such a long trip.

I decided to go to Summer Camp this year, it was in London Quidditch Stadium, which wasn't that far from my house I live in London, so I might as well come. Also, I wasn't due for a trip to Spain until August, so I had plenty of time for Summer Camp. I brought my broom with me. I hope to play in some of the summer games.

Alright, what the hell! I was assigned to the Gingerbread house tent and it looks like one of those cringey superhappy fun-land places I went to as a kid. Luckily the smell of cookies makes up for it. There already another kid sitting at the table.
"Morning" I greeted him simply and went to drop my bags at a bunk. I chose a bottom bunk in the middle of the row of beds. Bottom bunks are good, You don't have to hassle to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night.

I see the other kid sipping hot coffee. Who drinks hot coffee in summer? Iced coffee in summer, and hot coffee in winter. That's just how it works.
"Why are you drinking hot coffee? We're in the middle of summer. I asked him expressing my opinion.

After finish making his hot coffee, Jason decided to sit on one of the seat available in the sitting area, one with the candy cane-shaped cushion. Jason snorted, "This is getting worse." He threw the cushion to another chair and started sipping his coffee.

Someone's voice greeted from behind him. Jason only raised his thick eyebrows, an action that couldn't even be said as a response to the greeting from the one who had just entered and put his stuff inside the tent. Jason took another bite of his gingerbread cookie, about to take a sip of his coffee when he heard the person opened his mouth again, a sentence that's clearly directed at him.

"Just my preference. Besides, coffee was originally served hot in any condition." Jason turned his head and found a boy with straight brown hair and warm brown eyes. Jeez, he really suited the atmosphere of this tent. "Jason Aguilar. Greetings from the deepest Amazon, Castelobruxo." The Brazilian boy pointed at a plate full of cookies with his chin, "There, if you want to munch something." Jason could finally continue sipping his hot coffee.

Talking about the weather, the atmosphere here is actually not entirely summer. It even tended to feel more like winter, in accordance with the theme of this year's Summer Camp. After all, a cup of hot coffee after a long journey is really refreshing.

Hugh's perplexed stare into the room would be one for the books. Complete disbelief was being stirred into a potion of frustration and embarrassment, bringing it to a boiling point, by which it turned into full-out rage. Fist balled up, veins popping and a red haze fuming in front of his eyes, he turned his head back towards the entrance.

"GALTOOOON!"

"You sick bastard!" The giant roared with foaming mouth and red face. "What's the meaning of this? This some kinda practical joke? Have you lost all sense? What the fock is wrong with you?!" Hugh, already an actual half-giant, looked even more towering in all his fury which was seemingly directed towards… a currently invisible person?

He'd ramble and grumble on for quite a while before eventually setting a second foot inside the room. The two boys, already present, he ignored for the most part. Throwing his bag with belongings upon one of the lower bunks. "What're you looking at?" He'd ask anyone brave enough to look in his direction. He couldn't believe he got himself in this situation. What an absolute idiot he had been for trusting Galton. He ought to have known better by now.

"He just couldn't resist, could he?" He grumbled to himself. "YOU NEED HELP!" He yelled towards the entrance again, his anger clearly not subdued. For the rest of the day, the giant would most likely be seen lying in bed with his arms crossed and feet dangling over the edge of his bed-end.

Just as Jason rested his chin on his hand, another boy, bigger than average human being, entered the tent. His appearance looked exactly like descriptions in Troll-thingy books that became reading material by a lot of Castelobruxo's students. Jason remembered one of his classmates who bragged to have met a Forest Troll around the school to the whole class and as a response to that Jason just raised his eyebrows boredly while whispering: in your wildest dream, moron.

Hearing the Tro---the student's grump, Jason raised both eyebrows with a crooked smile forming on his lips. Oh, I like this big guy. He expressed how I felt about this tent perfectly. The concept for the Gingerbread House itself is a really great deal, but there must be something wrong about placing himself and that big guy in such a cuty-nasty place. Could this tent be intentionally filled with people like them? What for?

Jason returned his flat expression when he saw the big guy moving all around, rumbling, grumping and growling the name 'Galton' which sounded new to his ears. Okay, he's taking off my peace. Jason changed his mind, didn't really like this guy very much. He finished his still-pretty-hot coffee -magically- in a few sips and stood up, stepping out of the ridiculous tent and potential chaos.

Jason waved his hand to the boy with warm brown eyes that matched his hair, "Leaving that big guy in your care," The Brazilian boy whispered, "Some chaos will be a very interesting story. Let me know if that happens." Jason smirked and left the Gingerbread House.

This hadn’t been his intention. Neither Hugh’s rage nor their lodging in this sickeningly sweet tent. And his reaction upon stepping foot inside the tent was definitely not intended.

It was like being transported back five years to a time that seemed to only exist in his dreams and deep subconscious. Except this time it was all real. Not that the his Candy Kingdom hadn’t been real to him, but this time he wasn’t the only one seeing it. As his eyes scanned the room more and more salivating details revealed themselves. Every seat looked as delectable as the last, wall trim looked ever so lick-able and the entry way made his mouth begin to water.

If it weren’t for his large friend’s screams (and rant) Galton may have been truly lost to his sugary lust. He was frozen as he studied his friend’s face. He had expected to see a tall gingerbread man with luscious candy floss sideburns starting back at him - yet it was the same as always, perfectly fleshy and missing any hint to being made of gingerbread. His first thought was that Hugh had finally joined him on an adventure into his Fiefdom. But as the boy’s anger vented outward onto young Lansdale, pieces started shifting into place.

This was not like that time five years ago. He had not consumed any questionable candy or baked goods before entering the tent (unless you counted the stadium’s chili dogs), thus there was no questioning any magical ailments. It could be a sort of relapse, but it didn’t explain his camp mates’ human look.

He would not move or even blink until Hugh had yelled his final word. It was true, Galton did need help. His right hand would find his mouth and wipe away the large strand of drool that had been streaming down his chin. Parting his lips and trying to utter a sound would reveal that he harbored a copious amount of saliva pooled within and would cause him to choke before any audible words could be heard. The sight for the other would be a momentary geyser of slobber from his opened mouth before it shut and he began choking down the liquid. With labored chortles he would try to regain his composure.

Normally Galton would love to deny all accusations against him. He definitely hadn’t put them down for such a tent if he knew Hugh would be so aggravated by it. But he hadn’t really paid attention when he had been signing them up. And he knew, at that moment, that he most certainly harbored an unconscious bias towards anything candy related. The Candy King liking sweets is not the most wild revelation that one could have. It was the most base realization he could have come to. And it had taken him 5 years to realize just how deeply rooted his obsession was.

But it wouldn’t stop him from continuing to salivate as he looked around. There was no relief. Everywhere he looked reinforced the idea that he had returned to the Land of Lollipops. The crazed boy would look between his friend, these strangers, and the room’s adornments. The juxtaposition of flesh and candy froze the teen. Deep down he wanted to consume every inch of this place like the true Glutton he was. The reminder that others were there with him held him back ever so slightly. Merlin above, did he want to bite down on one of those seats.

“Hugh-“ of all the times Galton had ever said his best friend’s name, this would be the most alarmed he’d ever said it. The urge to do anything other than try and consume anything in the room was paralyzing. Stopping himself from drooling again almost took all his control. He knew there was no way to explain what was happening to him, nor did he know if Hugh would know what he was talking about if he spewed forth the fever dream he was experiencing. He didn’t even know that Hugh was someone he’d attacked when he’d first ventured into his candy kingdom.

But he wanted to eat it all. Maybe not the people, but everything else. He knew what he’d read from the official files. His desire for consumption was linked to what plague him from years back. But no matter how much he held himself back it felt like he was losing ground. The sugar sang to him.

A white flag would be raised under Hugh’s dangling legs. “Help- candy?” was all he could manage.
