My Little Snow Angel!
Elizabeth was doing some quick shopping while her mother was meeting with an old classmate of hers.
She had seen all the shops except for Magical Menagerie and had decided to do her shopping in there.
Hm...what pet do I want? There are so many choices here! She thought as she stepped into the midst of the happy chirps, meows, and hoots. As she walked around, she felt a piece of paper in her pocket and pulled it out. Immediately she grinned and started looking around for what she wanted.
Where are you kitty? Please show yourself to me! She thought and caught her eye on the perfect cat. The cat that matched the picture she had put back in her pocket. She slowly walked over to the cat and smiled. She knew that they would be the best of friends forever and ever.
"Hey there, what's your name?" She asked as the cat purred. Glancing at the sign below the cage, she saw that the cat's name was Snowy. "Ooh! Snowy, what a perfect name for you! I wonder how old you are."
As she asked the question to herself, the owner came around and answered it, slightly startling her but not quite, "She's a bit more than a month. Name's Snowy as you saw. Do you want her? You can buy her if you do and if you have enough money."
"Oh! I do have enough money! I really want her, I really do. Can I buy really buy her...or is it a him?" She asked, getting excited by the minute. The owner nodded and said simply, "Snowy's a girl. A good girl too."
Elizabeth's mother came in and walked over to her, asking if she had found a pet that she really wanted. Grinning, she nodded and her mother walked out again, telling Elizabeth not to take too long.
As she walked towards the counter with Snowy in her hands, the weight of the galleons in her robes, she couldn't help but smile with pleasure to herself. Now she could finally play with her friend without feeling jealous of Tigeress! She wouldn't have to worry about feeling jealous about not having a pet again for a long time.
She paused as she dug into her pocket. Did she want to spend all her money on a cat? She knew the answer and, before she could pause ore hesitate one moment more, she dumped all 15 of her galleons onto the counter.
"Come on Snowy! Let's go home and pack for camp!" She said to Snowy, her cat, and walked out.
