A Book-y Meeting

"Yumi, I will go and get your school supplies and maybe some clothes while you buy the books, okay?" Ayumi's father passes her a list of names for books she will be needing for the school year ahead as he says, "I believe you won't mess this up, hm?"
Ayumi nods. This should be simple - just pick out a few books based off the names she is given, and it will be over soon. It is close to noon, and the girl can feel her stomach grumbling a slight bit, causing her to regret eating only a few crackers in the morning.
Her father pats her on the shoulder once before turning to leave, "See you soon, then."
Ayumi runs a hand through her blond hair before looking down at her list. She pushes open the door of the bookshop while inspecting the paper in her hands. The cool air in the shop hits her face in a welcomed refreshing sensation, and the girl puffs out a small breath.
Many people are picking out books in the shop, perhaps because she is not the only one who has received her letter this month. A few are rushing through the shelves, as if they are on a time limit, and Ayumi furrows her eyebrows slightly at how disgraceful some of them are in their haste.
Most, however, just walked at a more comfortable pace, a few flipping open some books to read a few pages before putting them either back onto the bookshelf or into their bags for purchase. Ayumi browses through the nearest shelf, and soon realizes that the books are organized into alphabetical order, with each shelf cluster representing a letter.
That's interesting. At least I'll have an easier time finding what I need. Ayumi thinks to herself as she begins searching for "A History of Magic" in the shelf filled with books - books which all have their names beginning with an 'A'.
