Yasha pushed aside the flap of the tent entrance and stepped into the cool night air. It was actually kind of nice to not have to experience a hot summer here in London. It also wasn't too cold. It really was a marvelous display of magic. As much as he was enjoying spending time with Miss Kaya Rose and her friends already and as much as their tent felt like the outside brought inside, Yasha couldn't spend all of his time "inside". It always felt suffocating. He needed to feel a real breeze on his face and feel the real grass (snow?) beneath his shoes.

So on a walk he went.

Yasha put his hands in his pockets and stalked out across the field of the Quidditch stadium, his shoes making no sound in the snow as he traversed the snowy landscape and his dark clothes making him like a shadow without a body. The sun had set enough for the stars to come out and he looked up to see them twinkling in the new night. He could hear people in each tent as he passed them, either conversing or cheering or singing or whatever other noise teenagers and children would make inside of a tent with no adult supervision and very little boundaries for bedtime. He chuckled a little. Hopefully, the unsupervised chaos of the school balls would not taint the summer camp.

Ironically, the cacophony of sounds muffled by the tents made the night outside seem even quieter, and, as Yasha walked away from the tent area, that familiar quiet of a snowy, winter night enveloped him. It was amazing that not even the street noise from London permeated into the Quidditch Stadium.

After a while of walking and not really thinking, Yasha made his way into the seating area and found a random seat to sit in. He brushed the snow off the seat and sat down, relaxing into the back and stretching his long legs over the top of the chair in front of him. Normally, he wouldn't put his feet up like this, bad manners, but it wasn't like anyone was here or was going to arrive, so he could recline at his leisure.

Yasha looked up at the night sky and the twinkling of the stars as the sun fully set behind the edge of the stadium. He smiled a little as he thought about Kaya and the group of people he was tenting with, satisfied that if this wasn't going to be a good summer, at least it would be an interesting one.
