The sun had just risen. The London Stadium, at dawn, was a sea of tents, each one appearing normal and ordinary. The sky was painted with hues of soft pink and orange, scattered with small clouds.

Elena wandered between the tents, her face turned up toward the timid sun. She loved waking up early. The world seemed to hold its breath, and she felt as if she were discovering a whole new universe. Elena made her way toward the edges of the stadium, spotting a shaded corner where she could read a bit.

She sat down, pulling out her book, and immersed herself in its pages. The morning light cast a warm glow on her, illuminating the text in a soft orange color. Birds chipping were heard around her, and the wind gently brushed the leaves of the surrounding trees.

Suddenly, Elena heard a faint noise coming from afar. It sounded as if someone stepped on a branch, or on crusty leaves. Slightly startled, she looked up, her sixth sense alert. A few moments later, a black haired girl appeared. She seemed surprise to see Elena, who smiled at the newcomer. Closing her book, Elena smiled at the girl. "Hi! Another early riser? I'm Elena, from Hogwarts," she said lightly. The usual anxious thoughts who should be holding her from saying anything by now we're quiet, washed away by the peacefulness and serenity of the place.

The girl just awoke from about 3 hours of sleep at about sunrise. She was told by her parents to go out for a walk once in a while and she thought this time was perfect since there was probably no one around. Ara got up from bed with many people from her tent still sleeping. She changed into colder attire since the entire quidditch stadium was bewitched to be covered in snow for summer camp. How ironic. After putting on her boots, she got out of the wave embroidered tent and into the snow covered surroundings of the entire stadium. This time, she didn't bring a book since she went for a walk not a reading fest. So in classic Ara fashion, she just had her hands in her pockets the entire time.

'Why bother naming this a summer camp?' she thought, 'It's during the summer but this doesn't look all "summery" to me'

She spent her walk gazing upon the landscape of the snowed upon surroundings. The black and white haired girl looked straight to the side and not paying that much attention of what's in front of her. This went karma-free for a few moments until she stepped into a bush. The bush was not pleased. The bush rustled because of her stepping into it. Ara was quite startled since she didn't like loud noises or any noise that came from a usually peaceful and quiet place. 'Damned bush...' she thought calmly.

After getting out of the bush and preparing to speed-walk in the opposite direction, someone called out to her. The voice came from a painfully short, dirty blonde, freckled girl. The young Villa got startled for the second time since the bush rustling.

Ara couldn't help but notice their enthusiasm while Elena introduced herself. 'Must be a first year then.' she assumed based on past experience. "Yeah, I wake up early most of the time." she replied, "Well technically it's a bit late compared to when I usually wake up but not like it matters much."

Elena leaned back against the wall, studying the newcomer. She looks so cool. The girl was wearing a really large outfit, and her hair shimmered in the morning sun. Looking at her jacket, Elena suddenly realized her own outfit wasn't really winter-proof. But she was used to cold temperatures and surprisingly wasn't cold at all. She tugged the book away, pulling her bag closer before turning towards the girl.

"Yeah, I wake up early most of the time," the girl replied. ]"Well, technically it's a bit late compared to when I usually wake up, but not like it matters much." Elena tilted her head. Earlier than that? Does she even sleep at all? She smiled, nodding. "I get you," she laughed. "I would wake up before dawn every day if I didn't love sleep this much." Sleeping was actually one of her favorite activities, which really conflicted with her love of quiet, early mornings.

She rose to her feet, brushing the dirt off her blue jeans. "I don't believe I've met you before. I'm Elena Clark, a soon-to-be Hogwarts student," she said, extending a hand. Elena rose her eyes to look at the black-haired girl. Wow, she's tall. Or maybe I'm short. She was constantly reminded of how short she was, even though she thought she was of average height. Just wait until I grow up, idiots.

The wind has started to rise, gently brushing the girls's hair. Elena looked around her, marveled. "What do you think about the winter-summer camp idea ?" she asked, smiling. "I have mixed feelings about it." On one hand she loved the idea, and found it very funny. On the other hand, what was the point of a summer camp with no summer ? Just don't call it summer camp then. She shrugged. "And are you enjoying the camp so far ?"

"Well I love sleep but do I sleep? No." she shrugged. The thirteen year old had a messed up sleep schedule to the point she sometimes thinks the early mornings before she slept were the day before so her perception of time is quite delayed. Ara being the infamous fashionista she was, observed the girl's outfit. 'Doesn't she get cold?' she thought to herself before noticing the girl's heterochromia eyes. 'Well, that's a rare one.'

The almost third year listened to Elena's statement about being a soon to be Hogwarts student and tilted her head. "Interesting..." she said before starting her self introduction. "Well, I'm Ara Villa, a soon to be third year Slytherin at Hogwarts." the older girl put her hands in her jacket's pockets. After Elena asked about her opinion on summer camp, she thought for a moment before answering. "It's quite silly that they still called it a summer camp after all the.... revamping." she replied.

Thinking if she enjoyed camp, she hasn't spent that much time at camp so she can't get a solid opinion on it. "I saw the itinerary and looks like this will be an eventful camp." the two tone haired girl continued, "The camp is ok for now, I haven't been here for long so I can't judge it right away."

Ara was looking forward to some of the activities. Examples are the Mahoutokoro vs Castelobruxo Quidditch match, Battle of the Seasons, and a broom racing match that's being moderated by an acquaintance she met a few weeks ago. The only thing she wasn't excited for was the Mistletoe Spin, she didn't exactly sign up for it by her own will.

Elena nodded as the girl introduced herself as Ara Villa. "Well, nice to meet you," she smiled. Ara started talking about the camp itinerary, evidently excited. "Agreed," Elena said. "I can't wait to see everything !"

Her mind started running wid as she remembered the various activities offered by the staff, from ice skating ring to quidditch, and finally the ball. "Are you going to the mistletoe ball ? I'm so excited ! I planned my outfit a month ago and all" she laughed. "It's going to be amazing."

While talking, she offered her new friend to pick some chocolate from her bag. The camp was slowly awakening, chatters was starting to be heard. Stretching, she looked at the time. It's getting late. Or early, based on how you see it. I better be going.

Getting up, she smiled at the two toned hair girl, grabbing her bag. "I gotta go. It was really nice meeting you ! I hope we will see each other at Hogwarts." Waving goodbye, she left the peaceful corner to get back to the agitated life of the camp.
