You may be hard-pressed to find your way back to this tent if you've snuck out in the middle of the night, as the fabric of the tent has been charmed to blend in exceptionally well with the night sky, its cool, inky black surface covered with constellations, distant planets, and the occasional meteor shower and shooting stars. The area around the tent is set up for those astronomy-inclined campers who may be residing inside, with telescopes, star charts, and observation chairs set up around the tent's plot. Behind the observation area is a small broom rack, with enough space to hold one broom for each of the tent's occupants. The sign indicating which tent this is don't use numbers, but rather each Stargazer tent is denoted by its own specific constellation.

Inside the tent, your attention will first be drawn to the rather peculiar ceiling: a perfect replica of the night sky twinkles above, displaying the winter sky on even days, the summer sky on odd days, and a beautiful facsimile of the northern lights every weekend. In the very back of the tent is - surprise! - another, smaller tent! Inside rests a small reading nook, with shelves dominated by dozens of books on astronomy, from the more standard non-fiction you'd use when revising for astronomy class, to the astrological mythology of various cultures, and even some fiction offerings. One book, black as night with embossed golden lettering, bears only an illustration on the cover depicting the constellation after which your specific tent is named, and makes a curious rattling sound when you shake it.

Eight sleeping bags in shades of blue and red are scattered around the tent, as well as eight chairs to sit back, relax, and enjoy the stars. Fireflies, or at least the impressive mimicry of them, dance around the room, and you swear you can see a flash of gold every so often out of the corner of your eye. A small bonfire rests in the center of the room, filling the tent with gentle warmth and the ambient sounds of crackling logs.

The sun shone bright above the fields surrounding the London Quidditch Stadium. A light breeze made Ruby’s hair dance, the air full with the scent of summer and the flowers that bloomed all around her. She dragged her suitcase towards the giant stadium, which hosted this year’s summer camp. Ruby was very excited to go. She couldn’t attend the previous year, but she heard the stories and was determined to enjoy this camp to the fullest. With a big smile she arrived at the entrance.

Her jaw dropped at the sight of the stadium. It was covered in a thick layer of snow, and all over the field tents were placed, in all sorts of colours. People were roaming around, trying to find their designated tent. She found the tent roster and saw that she was assigned to a Stargazer tent, the Phoenix Pavilion, along with some fellow students she didn’t know. Oh, good, a great chance to meet new people.

She wandered around the stadium, in search of their tent, and admiring all the work the team invested in making this wonderful world. She saw circus tents, igloo tents and all sorts of other tents, till she finally found her tent. She immediately loved the sight of it. Around the tent was a little area where they could watch the stars and planets with telescopes and chill in observation chairs. Above the entrance, the Phoenix constellation was visible. Full of wonder, Ruby entered the tent.

Ruby’s attention was drawn by the ceiling. Rather than a veil, the ceiling was a replica of the sky outside, and Ruby could see the sun shining down on her. She imagined how beautiful this must be at nighttime, when the stars would shine down on them. What a beautiful place to stay for a whole month. Across the floor, sleeping bags were scattered around, and she also saw relaxing chairs placed near an inviting small bonfire. While looking around, she noticed she was the first one there and no sleeping area had been claimed yet. She chose a very comfy looking blue sleeping bag and placed her suitcase next to it. She would unpack later. Tired from the long journey, she let herself fall into one of the relaxing chairs near the fire, resting a bit and waiting to see if her tentmates would arrive soon.

As soon as I entered the stadium I was amazed, it was all covered in snow, I saw people pitching their tents everywhere, the tents of every color created beautiful contrasts, I approached the scoreboard and I saw that I was assigned to people I didn't know, except one.

I smile at the sight of that name, I hadn't spoken to it for a long time, then seeing that no one was Gryffindor I was even happier.

I'll finally make friends from other houses.

I wander around looking for my tent and finally find it, I see a suitcase already placed on the ground.

I may not be the first but at least I'm not last

I take the Viola sleeping bag and place my suitcase next to it, then I enter the tent and place the sleeping bag, inside the tent is even more beautiful than outside, I would like to stay here forever.
I come out of the tent and look at the suitcase, I don't want to unpack it now, I'll do it later, when I return inside i notice some armchairs with the fire in front of them and I walk towards there, I sit on an armchair next to a girl.

Maybe she's one of my tent companions.

Although I always try to avoid conversations, but this time I'm too curious, so I decide to talk to her Hi, what's your name? I ask one of the most classic questions I know and wait for his answer.

I had just sat down in front of the fire, after having, obviously, tried to converse with the girl, who I had discovered was called Ruby, I was looking at the ceiling with magnificent decorations, the stars were shining clearly, I can't wait to see the ceiling night, I would probably don't turn a blind eye just to watch this show, i turn around as soon as I hear a voice, a girl who seems to be a first year like me is standing in front of us, from what I understand her name is Venus.

It's a cute name.

She has brown hair that falls to her shoulders, she wears a beautiful white cotton skirt and some ankle boots that I would like to have too, even as a jacket for a leather jacket.

Seems pretty.

I decide to answer him to avoid making a bad impression Hi, I'm Giulia, what house are you from? I'm Gryffindor, although I would have preferred Slytherin I ask her while smiling, meanwhile the girl next to us is partially confused, but neither of us pays particular attention.

Summer camp had finally arrived.

Only Ava would come into the stadium with her bags tied to a full sized, already blown up mattress.

Ava had learned that it was impossible to sleep on a hard mattress, so she had brought her own. In the case scenario that her lodgings had a twin size bed for her, she would steal another bed to help support her full mattress. If that meant someone had to sleep on the floor, so be it.

With all of her stuff, it would be impossible to carry on her own, so she had recruited her best friend, Charlie, to help her carry the absurd amount of stuff she had packed. Although she had known to pack for winter, the sight that awaited her when she arrived almost made her drop her end of her mattress.

"Woah," she breathed, grinning. While she didn’t particularly enjoy winter, the sight was breathtaking.

When she arrived at her assigned room, the place was breathtaking. The seemingly endless ceiling was the image of a warm summer sky, although outside remained cold.

The sleeping arrangements had her grateful for her mattress, which she moved a sleeping bag aside to put down.

There seemed to be few people in the room, but she introduced herself anyway. "Hello, hello! I’m Ava!" she grinned as she took a seat on the edge of the mattress she had brought, her bags still tied to it.

She bit her lip for a second, trying to think of something that would make her more memorable. She hated being forgotten.

A smirk spread across her face. Of course! She was a metamorphmagus. And one of her specialties was making her hair crazy colors. While trying to keep her face as neutral as possible, she slowly let her hair dissolve into shades of red, pink and orange. While the colors definitely didn’t suit her, they would likely leave a lasting impression. And if she pretended that she didn’t know what was happening, it could make for a pretty good prank. She just needed Charlie to help her convince them.

It was so cosy and silent in the tent, and Ruby almost drifted off to sleep next to the warm bonfire as she heard someone enter the tent. She saw the girl pick out a sleeping bag and put her suitcase next to it. She let the girl settle in silence, as she would have preferred for herself. After a minute, the girl turns around and takes place in a seat next to Ruby.
Hi, I’m Ruby. Nice to meet you!

Before the girl could answer, another girl entered the tent. Her gaze was immediately drawn by the ceiling, and Ruby couldn’t blame her. It was such a pretty sight. She could sit in these chairs the whole night long, looking as the stars rotated above their heads.

The girl walked towards them and introduced herself. Come and take a seat here, it’s so nice to sit by the fire. I’m Ruby, by the way. She pulled a seat closer for Venus to sit in. She heard Giulia ask about their houses.
I’m from Hufflepuff, just graduated first year. I had so much fun this year, and I hope this summer camp is going to be be just as much fun.

She heard a rumour at the entrance of the tent, and as she looked to find the source of the rumour, a big mattress was being pushed through the entrance. Surprised for a moment, Ruby was deciding if she needed to assist the student entering, as she saw two people enter. They were carrying a large mattress with bags tied to them. They put them aside as the girl introduced herself to them. She seemed a bit lost at what to do next. But suddenly, her hair changed colour and represented shades of red, pink and orange. The girl looked horrified. Ruby didn’t know what to do. Should she laugh, should she help the girl? She looked at the student next to Ava for help. But she got to her feet and slowly walked towards Ava.
Are you ok? Do you need help? She tried to read the girl's face and reactions. Or is it a trick?

I immediately discover that Ruby is a Hufflepuff which pleases me, then Venus speaks, I am of the house of Salazar Slytherin. He smiles at me as he says it, I smile back, then he makes a comment to Ruby Oh, I see a Hufflepuff! Nice to meet you Ruby! I also smile at Ruby like Venus does, I was about to say something to her, but a girl comes in, carrying a large double mattress, I see her arranging things and then approaching us.
Hi! I'm Ava right after he goes silent and his hair changes color, it was surprising and normal at the same time.

You may wonder why normal?

This is because they informed me about people like her, they should be metamorphmagus, Venus's whispered comment confirms my theory, Ava could be a metamorphmagus... I look at the girl and take courage, I might as well ask her.

It was summer.
This year Charlie had decided to attend summer camp with her best friend Ava who had done some rough things in the past but was still her best friend. Charlie was going in to her third year, but usually never went to summer camp.

Ava had pestered Charlie to help her carry all of her stuff and Charlie, being the good friend she is, reluctantly agreed. When she saw all of the things Ava brought she dropped her jaw on the ground. “Ava! What. The. Heck.” Charlie stared at Ava as she grinned and laughed out loud.

Charlie sighed, knowing this was not a winning battle for her, and placed her trunks on top of Ava’s mattress. Charlie was a much lighter packer than her friend Ava, so of course, she had only brought two trunks and a few small bags.

The winter theme of summer camp made Charlie happy, especially since she was a Dhaphmir. Her naturally pale skin blended right in! She also brought her ice hockey equipment, hoping there would be a nice patch of ice to play on.

The girls continued to walk and when they finally arrived at the tent, her breath was taken away. Charlie let out a soft wow, and continued in to their spot. Seeing the sleeping bag on the ground made her slightly jealous of Ava’s mattress, but at least it wasn’t too cold in the tent. The rest of the girls inside were much younger than Ava and Charlie, which she wasn’t too fond of.

Charlie selected a spot next to Ava and began to get unpacked. Charlie spotted Ava getting herself acquainted with the others, showing off her skills. When Ava was done, she jumped in.

“Hey, I’m Charlie. I’m going to be a third year in Ravenclaw. I play first string keeper on the quidditch team.” She said. Charlie kept to herself the fact she was part vampire, although it was likely noticeable due to her unusually colored grey eyes, pale skin, and extra pointy cainine teeth, which she kept out at a normal length.

Charlie hoped that summer would be good, and that she would be able to keep Ava under control.

Ava watched the mixed reactions from her cabin mates, and grinned when one of her cabin mates asked if she was a metamorphagi. Ava grinned. "You got me, I’m a metamorphmagus. But hopefully my little trick will make most of you remember my name!" She explained. Ava hated it when people didn’t know her. Really, all she wanted was to be known by everyone. However, at the moment she had been doing that through tricks and mischief. Maybe one day she would be known for her achievements.

She rubbed her hands together and further examined the cabin, her eyes landing on the fire in the middle. "Yes! I knew I didn’t over pack, it’s summer, which means there is always a need for a bag of marshmallows. I just need to find them first…" she exclaimed, announcing her plans to dig through her bags for the marshmallows to the whole cabin.

One trunk had a bunch of snow gear. Gloves, hats, coats. All of that sort of stuff. The second trunk had more of her clothes. Mostly winter clothes, but also a few T-shirts and shorts and stuff, just in case. The third trunk had accessories, trinkets and books, essentially everything she didn’t know where to put. And the fourth bag, which was much smaller, contained tons of muggle food, things like marshmallows, graham crackers, chocolate, candy, some crackers and crisps. And Ava had stolen her muggle family’s metal marshmallow roasting sticks, so she had a ton in her bag which she pulled out.

The snacks may have costed all of her allowance, but she figured it would be worth it.

"Who wants s’mores?" Ava announced to her cabin.
