Goodbye Hogwarts!

It was the last day of school before summer break and Tracey and the rest of the student body at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy are allowed to stay for the summer camp, but as much as she wants to see Mateo again, and see him play, she knows she could see him another time, plus she wanted to go back home and see her parents since she had spent almost all the breaks at Hogwarts.
After she packed everything into her trunk, she somehow carried her trunk all the way from the Ravenclaw common room down to the Entrance Hall. Tiger was simply following her. Tracey and Tiger then boarded the Hogwarts Express once they got to station in Hogsmeade. Tracey realized that she and Tiger were the first people onto the train, so Tracey made her way all the way to the back and sat down in the last compartment.
She left the door open so other people could join her. Tracey looked out the window and played with Tiger who was laying in her lap. Her two tone blue hair was shining in the sunlight and if anyone asked if she had died her hair she would be ready to tell them that she didn't and that she's a Metamorphmagus, since she's a lot more comfortable with telling people about the fact that she's a Metamorphmagus then she was when she first arrived at Hogwarts.

βββββIt had been quite some time since Alexandria had last been on the Hogwarts Express. She hadn't gone home for most of the holidays, she didn't really have a reason to. But now she finally boarded the train to return home, at least for a little while until she would be headed off to summer camp. She would get to see her grandparents and parents for a few weeks. She looked forward to seeing her grandparents but doubted she'd be seeing her parents much. They were always both so busy, she was raised more by her grandparents than her actual parents. But Alex couldn't blame them, they were always hard at work, keeping the family name well respected and wealthy.
Once on the train, Alex walked around, looking for an empty compartment, but she had gotten on a little later than most people and all the compartments seemed to be occupied. As she walked through the train, checking each compartment, she saw one with just one girl and an orange cat in it. She decided it would be a good place to try. "Hi there, sorry, everywhere else is full, do you mind if I join you? I'm Alex, by the way," she said, stepping into the compartment with the girl.
As she waited for the blue-haired girl to answer, she glanced out of the compartment and caught a glimpse of a familiar face walking past, specifically the face of her friend Cass, who she had met fairly recently but could definitely say was her friend. "Sorry, one sec," she said to the girl with the ginger cat in her lap before stepping out to grab Cass' wrist and pulling them into the compartment with her and the other girl. "Yeah, sorry, this is my friend Cass, would it be okay if they sat in here as well?" Alex asked with a friendly smile.

The year had been a good, if strange one. When they had first stepped off the train, despite all the stories that their father had told them they hadn't been quite sure what to expect. All of the experience they had with "school" beforehand had been tutoring groups back at the Ito manor. Sure, it had been fun enough (though their poor teachers might not have agreed) but it had not in any way prepared them for how enormous Hogwarts was. Like always though, they had took to the change like a fish to outer space (or whatever that muggle saying was) and soon enough Hogwarts and its crowded corridors had seemed like a strange sort of second home.
Now here they were, getting ready to leave it. Perhaps their Pa would think the year was a success- not to many letters home (for them at least), and decent grades from the practical portions of the exam. Written work was another matter, but first year wasn't too hard even with all the trouble they made in class. The train pulling up distracted them from their musing, and they squeezed their way through the door with the rest of the crowd. Hauling their trunk (or trunks rather- they had an obscene amount of luggage) with them, they walked their way down the corridor in search of a compartment.
The noises of people laughing and talking to their friends filled the train, and alone Cass walked through the maze of friend groups. Like always, they seemed to end up knowing everyone and no one at the same time. If you asked them, they could name half the school as their friends and 101 stupid things they had done together. And yet here they were, walking alone. It was easier and simpler to drift. People couldn't leave you if you had so many others.
Then a warm hand closed around their wrist and rudely yanked them into a compartment. They spun around, hand on wand ready to fight and then relaxed upon seeing Alex. They gave her a grin, and then tugged their hand out from her grasp to start hauling all of their bags onto the luggage rack while she talked to another girl with brilliant blue hair. Ugh, being short sucked. You could never reach anything ever. They jumped up onto a seat, not caring about getting their dirty boots on it and shoved their bags up there. With a triumphant grin at a problem thwarted, they smiled and turned to the girls "Hey Alex- I'm Cass by the way". With a nod to blue-girl they said "Nice hair".

As Tracey was still looking out the window and playing with her kitten, she noticed that a girl had come into the compartment. Tracey turned her attention to the girl and offered her a small smile. Tracey was about to respond to what the girl named Alex said, but Tracey saw Alex grab someone and bring them into the compartment, and she also sent them a smile and then said,
"Hello, nice to meet the both of you. I'm Tracey and this is Tiger. Oh, thanks, Cass. You two are also welcome to sit in this compartment, I don't mind,"
Tracey actually didn't mind Cass stepping onto the seat opposite of her to put up their luggage. Tracey went back to looking out the window trying to figure out what to ask these two, since Tracey wants to make more friends. Once something popped into her head, she turned to the two and asked,
"What houses are you two in? I'm in Ravenclaw, but I feel like I would fit well in Hufflepuff. Also, how was the year like for you two? For me, my first year was amazing. I had a lot of fun, and I definitely changed a lot from when I was first riding this train to get to our school to now. I was also able to feel new emotions and made my first enemy too. Tiger had a lot of fun too! He made a lot friends like I did. And i'm still up for making more friends. Oops, I didn't mean to ramble, there, sorry!"
Tracey rubbed the back of her neck a bit embarrassed that she had rambled and she wasn't sure what Alex and Cass would say about her rambling, but sometimes she tends to ramble, actually, she tends to ramble a lot.

βββββAlex smiled as the girl, whose name was Tracey, said her and Cass could join her in the compartment. "Thank you, Tracey! And oh my gosh, Tiger is just so adorable! I have a cat of my own back home, but she's more of my grandmother so I didn't get to bring her with me to Hog-" she was cut off as Cass jumped up onto the seat of the compartment to put their luggage into the above storage. "Cass! You're getting dirt and grime all over the seat. I could have helped you if you wanted, rather than dirtying the compartment," she scolded. God, I sound like my mother.
She shook her head as she took a seat on the same side as Tracey, eyeing the now dirty seat with a look of suspicion. "My friend, why exactly are your boots so grimy? Is hasn't rained recently, so the ground isn't muddy at all," she asked Cass after they stepped down. The young Gryffindor let out a small sigh before turning in Tracey's direction as she began to ask her and Cass what houses they were in.
"Well, I'm in Gryffindor, though my family expected me to end up in Ravenclaw, like you. Apparently they think I'm smart or something, but I believe that opinion may change when they see my History of Magic grade. I barely passed with an A!" She grimaced, her parents would not be very pleased by that news. Ever since she was young, she had excelled academically, but more recently, her grades began to match that of your average student. Alex wondered how her family would react to that information.
She smiled when Tracey apologized for rambling, "Oh, no, it's quite alright. I often find myself doing the same thing. But my first year was quite interesting. I met quite a few people, some a little more odd than others OOC: @Prat Pass but I believe it's safe to say I've made a few friends," she smiled at Cass before waiting to hear their answer. Alex had met Cass not too long ago, it was a particularly hot day on which she got to witness a boy fall from the sky. Quite an event in her opinion.
