☆ H O M E ☆

The Goggin's home can be described as a ... Character. The building is located in Cork County, Ireland it is small and packed, and it hasn't aged quite well over the years. This home is not one of heritage, but a small home given to Lochland by an old man who used to live there, who loved Lochland so much. The old man, Cillian, sadly had passed due to old age. The Goggin's history of Pureblood lineage had long been washed away as did their reputation, many of the Goggin family had no contact with one another. The home is quite crammed as Lochland and Floria ran both of their own buisnesses within their home, whilst living on the upper floors. Lochland has long been estranged from his wealthy parents, making a name for himself amongst the locals for his designs that are outlandish, strange, wacky, or even straight up preposterous but one cannot deny the odd gorgeousness. Lochland had been cutoff as he was the Deaf son, and he problems connecting to his hearing parents. He met his lovely wife Floria Murphy at Hogwarts, and they found solace in one another having similiar if not the same struggle as they were both Deaf Wizards and half-bloods at that! The two always find themselves on the brink of poverty, but by the grace of God they make it by. The small estate also has a shed not far from the main home, but for some unexplainable reason is had gone up in flames years ago in what people pressumed were a couple teenagers playing a trick, but a more sinister murmur had spread quietly amongst the people of Cork. But whether what is gossip or not, the shed still stands charred, blackened, and overgrown with weeds.

☆ U P B R I N G I N G ☆

Odie's childhood she would consider normal, but to many others her ubringing was definitely not the typical one. The Goggins are well known in the area for their joint Home, Hat, and Tea shop, ran by Odie's parents Floria and Lochland. Floria takes care of all the tea details and Lochland does the tailoring for the hats, and Odie acts as a translator. This is because Odie is also interestingly enough a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults), and was born with hearing despite both her parents being Deaf, which is not an uncommon occurrence. Since her parents are half-bloods and Deaf, her mixed upbringing between both worlds of magical/muggle and Deaf/hearing communities cause her to know a lot... but she also lacks indepth knowledge as well. The Goggins were once very strong pure-blooded family, but were never really pure-bloodist and didn't hold those standards, although a few follow the despicable practice. Goggins were often not well respected due to their non-rich stature and controversial views, which are now considered the norm. As time went on the pureblood status of the family slowly changed and dissolved as the family mixed a lot with muggles over years, although still fairly new in the mixture as still some distant relatives still are pure-blooded. When Odie isn't at school learning at an all muggle school she is at home helping her parents with business, as much as a young girl can. Odie was also raised the old fashioned way and doesnt have too much experience with technology besides televisions. Odie was also instilled with Christianity and always shows this by wearing an ornate cross around her neck and prayer beads. She believes firmly in God. Also living in such a small local town there is not much to do so Odie found her adventure and passed her time alot in the rollings hills and the vacant farm fields. This caused Odie to be quite the wild child. Odie also helps around alot as she is one of the few young lassies with good strength and because her parents could not lip-read well she helped translate alot. You can say that the Goggin's definitely lead a more muggle-type life but they welcome their doors to wizards and muggles alike and add a tiny tinge of magic here and there. Also they are definitely the strange family on the block, they are quite loved by the community due to their hospitality, although they also receive insults due to being Deaf, but that's usually a few drunkards who stumble out of bars. When the family isn't working they enjoy dancing to music, despite being Deaf they love it and the vibrations. That also means though that it is quite the LOUD household, although Odie is quite silent.
Odie's first instance of magic was when she was 3 years old. Odie was sitting at the dinner table as hus mother Floria prepared dinner. There was a bouquet now long dead as it was wilted and black sitting as a centerpiece for the table. As the two conversed, Floria signed something to make Odie laugh, her laugh caused the bouquet of flowers to come back to life.

Her skin is a light creamy olive tone with a few light freckles. She has messy curly/wavy hair that cascades all the way to her mid calf, her hair is a dark brunette with a few mallen streaks. Her eyes are slightly downturned and sleepy doe-like, the color is a dark brown, she had long eyelashes. Her teeth are rather large and straight yet she has a few crooks in her front teeth appearing to look much like a gap. When she smiles her gums show, her lips are rather plump and pearl shaped. Her nose is tiny and upturned and her cheekbones/dimples are very prominent. Her body is very lanky, leanz and muscular, many would describe it as a sleepers build. She also has a small scar on her right hand, she looks at her hands often to tell her left from right using her scar. She can be seen wearing fedoras, strange patterned tights, and boots. Her fashion is quite conservatice, quirky, and has influence of country. Large Cow-spot-like birthmark on her left ribcage. She has short nails from nail-biting habits and slumps over as she hates hovering over people with her tall height.

☆ S O U L ☆

Odie is open Minded, Goofy, Compassionate, Courageous, Loyal, Funny, Determined, Curious, Creative, friendly, quirky, Smart, Dopey, Imaginative, Wholesome, and Humble. But she is also Clumsy, Naïve, Oblivious, Not that Bright, sensitive, Biased, Secretive, Competitive, Comedic, Absent-minded, and Immature. Although she mostly keeps to herself she is exetremely friendly and kind and makes a great friend! Every week or even day Odie has a new topic she loves learning about. Odie absolutely adores ducks, lizards, and cats! Her favorite colors are orange, blue, and green. Odie is considered much of a wild child because of her almost feral hyper nature at times. She is definitely odd.... amd enjoys everything outside and is more of a morning bird than a night owl. She is extremely considerate of others and almost selfless, her ego is not large and she cares none about looks and what is on the inside. Odie enjoys playing sports and art and learing new thingsz she is very curious and very christian.
