Mylo is a very shy child, but once he gets to know people they will start to be a bit more roudy. They take a while to warm up to people, but he is a very kind and gentle person. He will help people in need but has trouble starting and keeping up conversation. They like reading and learning new things.

Mylo has a very comfy style. They like to wear T-shirts and he takes great care to make sure they look nice for the day as to present themselves well to the world. In the winter he tends to wear sweaters with a cute print, their favourite one is a green sweater with a floral print on it.

A DEEPER LOOK

THE STORY

Reducio

Mylo Atkins was born on the 5th of January 2012 in Durham, England to James and Mike Atkins. He was a very quiet and happy kid, even as a baby, they wouldn't often cry and would later be told all about how when one or both of them would enter his line of sight the biggest smile would come onto their face. The first few years of Mylo's life were filled with learning how to walk, talk and cycle their pushbike.
When they were 3 Mylo was put into a kindergarten with other kids his age so that they could socialize a bit, it was noticed that Mylo had a very difficult time with the other kids and would not talk to them at all, also due to some children not being all to nice to them. When they hit the age of 4 their dad's decided to homeschool Mylo but had a deal with the neighborhood school that when there would be class trips Mylo would be able to join those and still get those experiences. Due to the socialization not being forced upon them Mylo started to make some friends and ended up with 2 best friends from his neighborhood. Lyla Smith, who lived opposite Mylo and was a very energetic child, it was mostly thanks to her that Mylo started to come out of his shell a little more. After that they befriended Sam Brown who was more similar to Mylo in attitude, that's probably why they got along so well. They helped Mylo come out of his shell and 'protected' them from a few bullies in the class, making sure to also help them defend himself.
After Mylo had turned 4 the family got the joyful news that they would be getting another addition to the family, and on February 5th they welcomed Andrea into the world. She was a lot more rowdy than Mylo and would constantly be trying to climb up things and knock objects down the moment she could.
On their 11th birthday his dad James came into the room holding a letter addressed to Mylo, it had a weird stamp that none of them had seen before. Reading through the letter Mylo couldn't believe what he was seeing, magic was real! Turning to their dad Mike he saw him look a little out of sort, mumbling something about how he couldn't believe it was actually real. Turned out that he had heard of this before but just thought he was being messed with.
After getting all the stuff that was on the list they drove off to the station and that's where Mylo's Hogwarts journey was about to begin.

THE MAGIC

Mylo's first instance of magic was when they were 9, he was out in the garden playing football with their dad James and Andrea, who was 4 at the time. This is something they did quite often as their dad's thought exercise and fresh air very important. During one of the more serious attempts at scoring a goal James accidentally hit the ball wrong and it shot of towards Andrea. Due to the fact that she was 4 at the time she didn't have the necessary reflexes to be able to defend herself from the oncoming projectile. Without realizing it Mylo somehow altered the course of the ball enough that it flew right passed her, and luckily didn't hit her. Afterwards they all just explained it as a freak accident, 'the wind must have picked up or something' due to them having no other way of explaining what had happened.

(Born 17 June 1977) Mike Atkins is the second oldest in the Atkins family at a whopping 47 years of age, he is a bit more strict than James is and the kids quite often take advantage of this by asking James for things instead of Mike. All in good spirit of course. Mike is a music teacher and teaches younger kids, often between the ages of 6 to 15. He loves to go out with his family to the zoo and concerts, where he tries to teach them about why the composers made certain choices, if anybody is listening to him when he tries to tell them about it is something different.

(Born 8 November 1976) James Atkins is the oldest in the Atkins family at the ripe age of 48, he used to teach at a primary school before he homeschooled both of his kids and thoroughly enjoyed this. He has quite a muscular build and loves to play outside with his children and husband. His favourite part of the day would be the evening, as that is when he can enjoy a good meal with everyone. He is a very family orientated man and would do a lot for them.

(Born 5 Febuary 2016) If you asked Andrea's family about her they would tell you that she is pure sunshine and mischief. As long as she is having fun she also loves to get herself into a bit of trouble. Many a time has she come home with holes in her clothes or covered head to toe in mud. But she cares deeply for her loved ones, and will fight anyone and everyone who dares to harm them (don't tell her she can't, she will fight you instead) She has a very good relationship with her older sibling Mylo. They constantly get on each others nerves but end up wrestling it out under their dad James's guidance. This has led to many fun moments, like "Don't push your sister that way, the sofa's the other way!" and many others.
