Class of 2024 [Yearbook] - Shelves

Class of 2024

It was that time of the year when the Graduating Class of Hogwarts were getting ready to brave the whole new world. Each of them would receive a hardback book with foiling on the cover. It was filled with pages designed and written by their classmates. They could add their own page and it would magically appear in everyone else's copy. These books would also contain the messages posted on the Class of 2024 farewell wall. It may not have been super fancy but it was theirs, filled with memories of the last seven years of their school life.

Please post once and edit your post with images, quotes, and yearbook questions as you'd like.

You are free to add anything, as long as it's within site rules.

Do not post here unless you are a Graduating Seventh Year.

What is your favorite Hogwarts memory?

There's a lot of them to choose from! It's hard to pick just one favourite.
Cloud-watching with Rosie. Playing Gobstones with Amadea and Ami.
Cheering on Cecily and the Ravenclaw Quidditch team. Being prefect!
Learning how to dance for the Blossom and Yule Balls. Duelling Rhea.
Hanging out with Eris, Alan, Anatole, Reid, Serena, Max, Phaedra,
Dymphna, and all my other friends. Playing dodgeball and having
snowball fights. I can't decide! They're all my favourite memories.

Where do you imagine yourself
five years from now?

In five years, I hope I'll have done some travelling. I've barely been
outside the United Kingdom, and there's lots more out there
that I want to see! But once I'm done with that, maybe I'll try
to get a job as some kind of expert translator. I've been learning
Gobbledegook this year and really enjoying myself. Or I could keep
working on my charms. I guess we'll see.

Talk to everyone!! Seriously! I can't promise that everybody is going
to be your friend, but when are you going to have another chance
to get to know so many different people? I'm so glad that I met all
the people I did while I was at Hogwarts. Plus, you'll be spending
a lot of time with them — so it helps to start off on a good note!

Favourite memory whilst in Hogwarts? Winning the Quidditch House Cup with the best damn flyers Hogwarts has ever seen! Or maybe the first time I kissed Bloom…

Where do you imagine yourself 5 years from now? I’m going to train to become a Ranger. So, I hope to be out in a forest somewhere protecting our magical flora and fauna.

Favourite memory whilst in Hogwarts?
My favorite memory would have to be when I met Howard for the first time ever. I was in the Room of Requirement and I was giving up on me. He walked in and was the light to my darkness. We talked and he showed me a way that he copes with stress, sadness and anger. We had a blast destroying pottery together. I wished the night would never end. I knew there was something about him thereafter.

Where do you imagine yourself 5 years from now?
I can't think about this right now.

If you could pass a message to a first year, what would you say?
Don't give up, and participate in a sport. Sports are fun. Broom racing, especially.

Favorite memory whilst in Hogwarts?
There's a lot of them, it's hard to pick just one. Playing Cecily on the pitch has gotta be up there, for sure. Maybe every time Amadea and I have pulled all-nighters to get homework done? But I think the one that takes the cake is Scott and I's last breakfast together, on that last day. Nothing beats eating breakfast with your best friend while he makes fun of you for still being a vegan after seven years.

Where do you imagine yourself 5 years from now?
Drinking pumpkin juice at the Three Broomsticks, catching up with everyone at our five year reunion. Or maybe in some penthouse in New York. Maybe running for president? Can I do that? Maybe Minister of Magic, then! But I know I'll be happy.

If you could pass a message to a first year, what would you say?
Make a splash. Don't be embarrassed about anything, everything we do here is embarrassing. I mean, we run around in these big ol' cloaks, for cryin' out loud. Nothing is more embarrassing than that. Seriously, just go for it. Talk to that girl you think is too cool to notice you. Try out for that sports team. Apply for that newspaper position. What's the worst that could happen? They say no? Big whoop.
