It was gorgeous, the weather, the school, everything. Jamie had just arrived at Beauxbatons for the newest school year and had been quite amazed by what everything looked like. She'd been told stories of the school and the trip by her parents who had both attended but it was something completely different to see it in person. Breathtaking to say the least.
Walking up to the school she wondered what the rest of the year would look like, she would of course get the highest marks and spend a lot of time studying to achieve those marks, but she mostly wondered what she would be learning. Also looking forward to the days she would be allowed to visit other schools, knowing from stories her parents told her that there would be opportunities for competition and that she would be able to improve herself that way against others. As long as those days wouldn't interfere with her study and lessons of course.
Deciding to go for a walk, after all the introductions and tea making sure to keep an eye on the time, to make sure she knew where she was she set off, wandering aimlessly but taking everything in. Remembering where she came from and where certain doors led as to make sure she knew where she was at all times. Of course she wouldn't be able to memorise the whole school in this one walk but she would be able to do a bit, and every small bit helps.
Stopping in one of the hallways she looked at the paintings, not recognising all of them but recognising at least the founding father of the school, Maugris D'Aigremont.
