Lily, who for the moment had managed to slip away from her father and brother while the latter was begging to know exactly how to play Quidditch, slipped into Weasley’s Wizarding Wheezes out of mere curiously. However, it was soon much more than just curiosity. There was so much to look at! It was actually making her pretty dizzy, but she didn’t mind it this time the way she had minded in Ollivander’s shop. That had been more of a dizziness due to lack of variation, whereas this couldn’t go much farther in the opposite direction without reaching so hard it’d reach around the world and come right back again. 

She wasn’t sure quite what to do with so many magical toys. Literally. The magical toys her father had given her could hardly be considered toys and were more like random magical objects that he just so happened to accidentally drop into her careful possession. But here it was different. Here she could touch and look and examine. With another quick glance out to see if anyone just so happened to be following her, she stepped further in, and looked around. Eventually her attention was drawn over to a plate of rubber cookies, and she laughed as people tried to eat them.

Cynthia Evans left Gringotts Bank after withdrawing some money from her account.  Her parents decided to let her come to Diagon Alley while they were working.  They trusted her enough and felt she was old enough to go there unaccompanied by either of them.  She had purchased all of her school things last week and now she just wanted to come and do some shopping for non-school related things.

She entered Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes which was her favorite joke shop after Zonko’s in Hogsmeade.  Today, she wanted to pick up some prank type items.  She didn’t really use these things to prank anyone as she felt it was mean to laugh at other‘s misfortune.  She just liked having them in her possession.  And she had her favorite items.  Frog spawn soap was her top favorite.  She also wanted to check out the new WonderWitch products that had come in yesterday.

She walked around the shop looking at the items on display when she accidentally bumped into a girl she hadn’t noticed.  “Oh, I’m so sorry.  I didn’t mean to bump into you.  I guess I wasn‘t paying much attention to my surroundings,” Cynthia said apologetically.  She secretly hoped the other girl wouldn’t get angry as it was only an accident.  She didn’t want to cause a scene in one of her favorite shops.

Cameron entered the shop and heard the bells go off from his entrance. The shop was filled with students that were looking at the Weasley items and some of them managing to eat them like the rubber cookie. A toy caught his eye as he went over to look at them, firecrackers, Cameron wanted to purchase one of these so badly only to set it off in the Great Hall. Though that thought would likely have him losing house points from his house. It would be one sight to see and something to remember. He looked around the shop at the other toys and came across a circular table that was pink that had pink bottles on it. Love Potion, he picked up one of the bottles and examined it. "Is it possible to find love?" He said to himself, not knowing that his question would be answered by a stranger that was beside him. Girls giggled at his question as they took the potion and went to the front to purchase it. He placed it back down on the pink table that was glowing in a neon pink and it was a distraction to leave the table. His eyes kept going to that area and he managed to move on to look at the magic cards that were on display. 

Cynthia turned back to the display of love potions and was a bit surprised to find a boy there looking at the small pink, heart-shaped bottles.  She picked up a couple of bottles of love potion and a few other items in the display of WonderWitch products.  These were Cynthia’s all-time favorite products to use and she purchased them frequently.  It was then that she heard a boy standing beside her ask himself if it was possible to really find love.  “You should follow your heart when it comes to finding love.  That way you know the love is real,“ Cynthia quietly replied with a small smile.

Cynthia moved off to pick up some of the other items she wanted to buy.  She grabbed a few bars of frog spawn soap and Peruvian Instant Darkness Powder which she would most likely use in the case of an emergency.  She always liked being prepared for whatever could happen.  She also wanted to get some Canary Creams and Extendable Ears.  As she walked around the shop, she couldn’t help noticing the people who were trying to eat a plate of rubber cookies.  She giggled as she turned her attention to a shelf containing portable swamps.  She would love to get one of these to send home to her parents.
