But her life starts to get better when she's chosen to be in a Hollywood movie, Shadow Catcher. She finds friends in the cast and all seems to be going well. That is, until the evil Shadows from the movie start appearing in real life. One of them takes her Dad and she has to come save him in the world of shadows. Prologue
A New Job For Father"Enchante, Je m'appelle Arlette." I shook hands with the boy, entranced. I was in France and I had just told my Father's boss's son that it was nice to meet him. I had also introduced myself as Arlette.
The boy smiled back at me and shook my hand, introducing himself in return. "Enchante aussi. Mon nom est Henri. Ce sera sympa de vous parler davantage en Amérique." I smiled as he replied. My smile soured as he reminded me of the move to America I was going to do.
"Why don't we speak in English as a reminder of how to do it? Um...It's nice to meet you. My name is Arlette." Henri giggled and responded in English too.
"It's nice to meet you too. My name is Henri. I look forward to meeting you more in America." He restated. Now I giggled. He was very good looking-and nice too. I would definitely enjoy spending more time with him, even though I wasn't going to enjoy America.
"Honey, let's go-time to pack!" I sighed and walked away, knowing my journey was about to begin. I just didn't know how far it would go.
