It's my first morning of studies, I enter the Great Hall, Wow... It's just as they described it to me, everything is perfectly perfect, the joy I feel is indescribable, if it weren't for the fact that I'm Gryffindor, but we all know that in my heart I will always be Slytherin, it's not that I hate Gryffindors, in fact they also seem like nice people to me, if it weren't for the fact that my sister is in the same house as me, it would be "suicide" to stay here.
I sit between a girl and a boy, I drink a little something, but I don't touch anything, the topic of eating is not something to open with me, more than anything else I take a green apple and start eating it, but obviously I can't stay in peace in the morning, not only do I have to put up with the noise of the whole Great Hall, but my sister also has to bother me.
She gets up and tells me/shouts from afar
-Why aren't you in Slytherin with your smelly cousin?- all his friends start laughing, how I would like to cast a spell on his forehead, I reply calmly -Unlike you, I went to say hello to him- she looks at me badly -You shouldn't be here.- she says, then continues -You don't deserve this House.- I'm annoyed, I reply in kind -For that matter, neither do you, since you forgot your courage at home, not to mention your intelligence.- she, angry, gets up and takes the wand to point it at him, no one moves, no one goes against him to defend me, everyone just watches, and are these the brave ones? Almost the whole room looks at us, my sister must be known, or else we shouted like 2 idiots, I can't do anything, using the wand would mean breaking the rules for me, plus I wouldn't know what to do to her.
I haven't the faintest idea, nobody does anything until...

"Come, now," said a polite voice belonging to a short-haired and baby-faced student, the lining of their robes a verdant green. They'd come from the Sorting the day before as with everyone else of their year, Cool and collected, their hands were splayed open with no wand between their fingers. Unmistakably unarmed. "Where's the inherent courage in hexing an unarmed opponent? I'm sure we can all deal with this peaceably."

To be fair, Jac had no particular idea of what was happening- but they could guess. They'd been more or less familiar with the sort of petty squabbles that happened in Muggle school and this didn't seem particularly different, only enough to know that sometimes people backed down when people tried to bring reason into things. And it wasn't that they cared particularly about this situation, either, though perhaps there was a little bit of insight here that was driving them on. Fresh-faced and bushy-tailed and all the loveliest things you could get from a child trying quite hard to diffuse a situation without becoming a target. "I mean, pointing wands at people is usually somewhat impolite. Though I could be entirely mistaken."

Their tone sounded sincere, though the content of their words was not.

A child, to my surprise a Slytherin, had "come" to my rescue, I look at him in amazement, I would like to thank him, but now I have to solve this problem of my sister, she, as I expected, responds to the boy -Damn disgusting Slytherin- Ok , this time I can't contain myself, he offended my favorite house and mostly he offended one of my Cetaneans, I won't leave this one unpunished, I reply angrily
-Don't talk to him like that, you don't know what you're talking about- the boy agrees with me, he seems like an ok boy , we could even become friends.
My sister points the stick at the boy, why doesn't anyone do anything? Why is no one as brave as him? Why don't they give us a hand? Is it all the fault of fear, that stupid emotion...? If you can call it that, I've never accepted it, but deep down I have it too, not now, or at least not for me, but I have it too.
You're an idiot! you don't have to save me, if he casts a spell we'll both end up badly, at least you could have saved yourself I would like to say this to the mysterious boy who, in a certain sense, saved me, I don't want him to get hurt too, but we're here now, I have to try to captivate my sister -Put down your wand- I tell her, she continues undaunted with his idea and doesn't lower his wand -Why should I? I'm ahead, I won't miss this opportunity, Little Boy! - now he turns to the boy, I turn to look at him - Go back to your table, or come here and join me, if you do so no harm will come to you, but if you stay there, there's a big risk - I keep looking at him, now it's all in his hands, he could go away, not caring about me, and save himself, which I would partly do too, or he could stay here and risk dying, or in any case getting hurt, it's all in his hands.

"Do not," Jac said, not unkindly with their hands still by their side, "Call me a boy again, for I am not one. But overall I think you are not allowed to hex someone for no reason, no?"

It was the first day of class, or going to be soon. They did not so much relish the thought of beginning a confrontation so soon- or perhaps they did. Jac enjoyed the concept of conflicts so much more than they'd like to admit. The student looked to the high table where the professors sat, then smiled suddenly. "Would you like to say this in clear view of the teachers? I mean, you are kind of just outright threatening to hex me for no apparent reason? And I am quite clearly young, with no intention or movement toward any sort of aggression that would warrant something so... enthusiastic."

Their disposition was sunny and their expression calm, almost unconcerned by what was going on. "Unless you simply sit down and enjoy your meal- I've heard the bacon is particularly excellent today, and I would hate for you to be made to miss something so patently delicious." And, for the record, I think I am a bit taller than average for my height."

I don't believe it... he was teasing her He's awesome he's awesome! she is even angrier and almost screams this time -I don't want bacon! sit back and let me finish what I started- but he/she doesn't move, she still has her wand pointed at him, almost everyone is looking at us, the teachers do nothing, they don't even look at us, as if it were normal I already can't stand them, and it's the first day
I look her in the eyes, as if to challenge her, then I tell her - Get off the table, it's rude to stand on a table, remember? - struck and sunk, yes I'm using, more or less, the same tactic as the boy/girl, making fun of her it's funny, she says to me -But you're so funny this morning, I can ruin your life little sister, and I will!- I start laughing, I just can't do it today, she looks at me badly, so I continue -Get off the table, or would you prefer that I warn mum and dad? - she suddenly blurts out, then recovers and says to me - Darling, they love me, you should be more scared, because I will tell them everything - I start laughing, again, everyone looks at me like I'm crazy, am I worried? Yes, can I hide it well? Yes, I tell her -I don't care, I have an uncle and a cousin, I don't care about you and my parents, at least Ivy will be on my side- Ivy is my little sister, I didn't want to get her involved but I had to -You rather get off the table and let us eat- I state, she comes down but still has her wand pointed at the boy/Girl.

P.S I'm sorry to tell you that I'm not English, and sometimes I use the translator to avoid making any mistakes or to take less time, I don't know how to help you, write it to me in the next post, I hope what I've done is enough.
