Torchlight Tales Poems Mild Horror

Hello!

I'll be writing some random, potentially ominous short stories/poems here. If that's not your thing, please don't read this! Thank you!

There’s two sides to having no friends:
1) There’s nobody behind you to protect your back.
2) There’s nobody there to stab it, either.

The Doll
Every day, when I awake
She's lying on the shelf
And when my back is turned to her
She's lying on the shelf

When I'm reading on the bed
She's lying on the shelf
And when I go to sleep again
She's lying on the shelf

I tease her (as if she could hear,
She's lying on the shelf!)
The days go on and nothing's wrong
She's lying on the shelf

Her human corpse is cold and still
As she lays on the shelf
(My linen hands still scarlet stained
From when I killed her myself)
