Glen has just come home from school during the spring to visit his family. He was doing really well in school, and he got good grades. His parents wanted to reward him for it. So they told Glen that he could get anything he wanted.

"Glen, honey, since you have been doing so well in school and you have been getting good grades, your father and I have decided that we want to give you a reward so you can get anything you want."

"Really, thanks, but I don’t know what I want, though I will think about it."

“Your welcome. You think about it. Let us know when you decide ok."

"Ok, I will let you know when I have made my choice."

Glen was really excited that he could get whatever he wanted. But he didn’t know what he wanted. So he spent some time thinking, but still he couldn’t make up his mind. so he went to bed and slept on it the next day he thought about things he needed but he had everything and still he couldn’t think of anything then he went on a walk and he went to the park and sat down on a hill and he brought his sketchbook with him and a pencil he could draw with and he began to draw a picture of the park and he was still thinking about what he should get as he was drawing he thought about getting a new sketchbook but his current was still pretty empty so he changed his mind he looked around and he saw a few people who were at the park and he saw a dog it was running around the park and it approached him so he pet it then it came to him so he exactly knew what he wanted he wanted a pet so he picked up his stuff and ran home and he went to his parents to tell them that he knew what he wanted.

"Mom, dad, I know what I want. I thought about it.

"Oh, what do you want, honey?“

“I want a pet, mom, and I will look after it, ok?"

"You want a pet? That’s a great idea. Let’s go to Diagon Alley then."

So Glen went to Diagon Alley with his parents, and he looked around at all the pets. He saw a kitten, and he knew that’s the one he wanted, so he told his parents that he wanted the kitten.

"Mom, I want the one over there.

"Ok, come on, let’s get it.

So Glen picked it up and then walked over to the cash register with his parents, and as they paid for it, he realized he needed a name for his new pet, but he didn't know what to name it. So he thought and thought of a name, but he wasn’t sure, and looked at it. Then he knew what he was going to name; it was a good name for it, and he was going to get stuff for it, so they took it with them.

“I'm gonna name it cosmos what do you think?"

“I think that’s a good name for it"
