hello my little birdies... solo Closed

The Blossom Manor was very big from outside and also very big from the inside. It was probably the biggest manor in the neighborhood.

Hannah held all of her bags and went to the door of her house. One of the many workers at her house had come to pick her up and take her home, by carriage. She read two books during her journey home and she hoped to read three more during her stay.

The man picked up the bags from her hands and led her inside. "Is my father home as well?" she asked. The man nodded, slightly. He looked annoyed to be taking a twelve year old girl home. The usual. Most of the workers were envious of her family's fortune.

"I'm home!" she called out. Her mother ran down the stairs. "Mother, shouldn't you be resting?" she asked. "I should, but I must see my big little swan! You've grown so much... You should've spent Christmas here." Birds. That was how her mother called her children. At least Hannah was her swan.

"Can I see them? Sienna and Edmund. I love the names. I was the one that picked them, so obviously I'm going to love them!" she giggled a little. "Well, obviously! They're your siblings now. I've been calling them eagle and raven. Sienna has red hair, but raven fits her, I think. Come along." she took her to Edmund's bedroom first. It was beautiful, all green with many details and a large crib in the middle.

Hannah got closer and closer to the crib. Edmund was awake. "He's so, so.. tiny.. Hello my little birdie!" "I'm your sister, Hannah." she asked her mom if she could pick him up and she nodded. She took him, carefully.

"Hi Eddie! I'm Hannah, your big sister. Soon you'll be able to talk and walk, but for now, you're just a tiny, tiny little baby." she told him. Not that he could understand anything. He smiled at her.

She put him down, so he could sleep, and then she went to see her little sister, Sienna. Hannah was the one who picked both of their names, and she was quite proud of that.

Her little sister's room was light pink and beige. It was wonderful. The crib was also in the middle of the room. The little girl was even tinier than her brother. "Hey Si! I'm Hannah, and I'm your big sis! You're so pretty, and I think you'll look just like me in a little while." she said. The baby had almost no hair, but the few strands of hair she had were bright red and her eyes were a deep blue.

Hannah felt as if she already knew Sienna from somewhere, but she couldn't put the pieces together. She put her back down so she could sleep, and then she told her mother she would unpack.

Then, she went to her room and pulled a hidden leaver and entered a secret passage that went directly to the library. The place was empty as it always was, so she started reading.

She hoped her siblings would one day, when they were old enough, read the books she had read and read her annotations, and even write their own notes. She would definitely show them many books and help them read once they were old enough. But, most of all, she hoped her siblings would have a love for reading, as big as Hannah's love for books.
