I’m at Hogwarts!
Dear Mum and Dad,
I’m writing to let you know I’ve arrived at Hogwarts safely, just like you asked me to. Guess what? I got sorted into Griffindor, just like you, Dad! I know you were hoping I would be in Hufflepuff like you and Finley, Mum. Honestly, I’m glad with whatever, as long as it’s not Slytherin.
The Griffindor common room is so nice and cozy, hopefully I’ll be able to focus on class work in there. I’ve already unpacked all my things. I can’t wait until I can start Care of Magical Creatures, though I know I have a bit before I can sign up.
Oh, and I almost forgot to tell you this funny story from when me and Finley were on the train! I bought a chocolate frog from the cart, and when I unwrapped it, it jumped right onto Finley’s face! Hah! He grabbed it before it could go any further though, and I had to wrestle it back from him so I could eat it.
Anyway, I hope you’re both doing well. I’ll write again soon.
