a friend for me pet

Mia walked down the cobbled street of diagon ally looking into all the windows of the shops and sometimes going in the ones that interested her. She was her for a specific reason. She was simply going to get potato peals like she would once and a while. She was almost at the shop when she saw a slightly faded sign. She craned her neck and squinted her eyes still unable to see what the sign said because of the sun's glare. A passing witch looked at her and said over her shoulder without stopping, "That's the Magical Menagerie!". Mia looked up one more time, sruged and was about to go when she heared a soft purr as something rubed againt he legs. It was a pretty orange tabby! Mia picked up the cat as someone came out the door of the the Magical Menagerie and scooped him up in her arms. The old lady was wearing a bright yellow dress with flowers printed all over it and her nice white hair curled nicely. Mia saw as the door opened again that it was a pet shop. At seeing this she smiled and followed the kind old lady back int the shop and she was shocked. every corner and visible space was covered in owls, cats, spiders, bunny's and many more that Mia couldn't even see. She looked around and she saw a few other students in the shop but she didn't know any of them. The old lady let the soft cat go and went back behind the counter with an old man. Mia figured they were probably married but that wasn't her business. She strolled around the shop a bit once and a while cuddling a cat that would walk up to her or petting a spider. She knew she was going to have a hard time choosing a pet and apparently so did the shop keeper. "ah, having a bit of trouble are we. Don't you worry we'll get you all sorted out with the right pet" The old lady smiled and watched Mia go around all the animals. Once or twice an owl would perch on her shoulder and Mia would absentmindedly give it a little pat on the head. Then another big bird landed on her shoulder and she felt it was heavyer than the others. She smiled and so did the shopkeeper. Mia moved her arm out so her to be owl could hop out and they locked eyes and a sort of bond formed between them."Hello there, you look like a Aigeus" Mia smiled and went up to the front. this day was great!
